OU / Oregon: Let's Play >=<

Post by War Stoops »

Well, that was a great and gut-wrenching game. First and foremost, congratulations to Oregon for a great comeback. This little 3-game set has been fun and Oregon fan has become one of my favorites. I had to cancel my trip to Eugene at the last minute, which turned out to be a good thing since sturdy, wooden shower rods are plentiful in the great northwest. Thankfully, mine's shitty plastic.

As for the game, I'll address the officiating first...it fucking sucked and that was a horrific call on the onside kick. Good to see that BtH is talking about the worst part of the call, which is that OU recovered the ball. At that point, who gives a shit who touched it first? That being said, Brent Venables and his "defense" lost this game. Period, end of pathetic story. The OU D continues to lack leadership, identity, intensity, and pretty much anything that's good. Venables is officially on the hotseat with OU Fan who no longer has Chuck Long to whine about.

Now for my stupid little game...humor me in my moment of pain.

Adrian Peterson > Jonathan Stewart

Dinsdale = Dead wrong about above comparison

Brent Venables < Mike Stoops

Paul Thompson < Rhett Bomar

Oregon Fan > USC / UCLA Fan

OU Defense < Maginot Line

Big 12 = Bad and slipping

Mental Toughness > Talent

Oregon Unis < Old School Tampa Bay Unis

Instant Reply = Worthless to OU on the road ('sup Tech?)

Texas = Suck

You may be right but I think the receivers made Thompson look better than he was. Just my opinion, but I think Bomar would have gotten the O going sooner than Thompson and that OU would have won the game with him. Totally agree that this loss was NOT Thompson's fault. Just saying that Bomar could've made the difference.

God, what an asshat he is...
