Huge racks to one stand up dude.In 1955, Waters gained national attention when he turned down an invitation to play in the Tangerine Bowl in Florida after bowl officials told him that Hillsdale's black players wouldn't be allowed to dress for the game.
Waters' term was longer than any other coach in Hillsdale history, and the school football stadium bears his name.
He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
