Belated RIP for Muddy Waters

Lost in all of the week long bullshit-fest between ND and MSU, Muddy Waters passed away.

Rack him for standing up for his players, against segregation, and telling Tangerine Bowl officials to stick it:

In 1955, Waters gained national attention when he turned down an invitation to play in the Tangerine Bowl in Florida after bowl officials told him that Hillsdale's black players wouldn't be allowed to dress for the game.

Waters' term was longer than any other coach in Hillsdale history, and the school football stadium bears his name.

He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
