Huge meltdown on local Detroit radio re: MSU/ND game

Post by Killian »

This guy is usually a pretty good sportscaster and pretty moderate when it comes to MSU. He's an MSU alum and just loses it around the 7 minute mark. Some of his best stuff comes around the 20-21 mark.

Babs?

I would like to say that I didn't enjoy that...

But I did.

More

This is awesome. This link is the whole show, skip to the 30 min mark to get the rest of the show.

That's awesome...I was listening to that yesterday. Valenti had to leave after only 90 minutes into the show because his voice was shot. I knew he'd flip out over the way State lost that game but that was an all-time classic melt.

Fuckin' Valenti...what a douche.

I'll listen to this when I get home.

Rack him for calling it like it is.

I could smell the theatrics though.

He says his rants are off the cuff but I just knew he'd come into that Monday show after another State loss with an epic blast at his team but I don't think losing his voice was part of the plan. He had all day Sunday to think about how he'd react to the game...some of that had to be rehearsed. Big fan of the Inferno but Valenti gets a little too crazy when he goes off on a team or a player. Foster was probably wondering what the hell got into him.
