and then they don't show the dotting of the "I" instead the network shows some prepared hype piece.

Yeah, that dotting of the "i" is always the highlight of the game. I'll be sure not to be making a beer run just in case they do show it.

This Michigan - tOSU tradition shit and suckage of Troy Smith is giving me diarrhea. I think I'll put on America's Funniest Home Videos until 1:00.

Well....at least they don't have some no-talent sitcom star singing God Bless America.
I'm gonna have to heartily RACK the SSB. You could actually hear the peeps singing.

"Context"? Now that's an awfully big word, isn't it?

My point is that "dotting the i" holds just about as much interest as a prepared hype piece.
Unless maybe you're from Ohio.

Why do the Ohio State players all have marijuana leaves on their helmets?

Guys, I appreciate that, I am sure we all appreciate that. There are few things that get me riled like tOSU band doing script Ohio. I am a firm beleiver that CFB traditions are usually corny to non-fans but I appreciate your comments.

ABC did show the dotting of the I. Fantastic tradition.

But let's not get away from the topic at hand here -- namely ABC's coverage of this game and Cuntsberger's "commentary" in particular.

1. Thanks Brent, for your fucking cliche of cliches after Michigan's first score: "I'm sure wherever he is, in whatever place, Bo Schembechler is smiling right now." Shut the FUCK UP, you fucking cunt. Goddamn, you suck, Brent.

2. Believe it or not, Troy Smith is not the greatest quarterback in the history of college football in "big games." How many interceptions did he have last year, at PSU? How about the W there, then? Next time, tell your graphics people to put that game up when showing his "stats" in "big games." Lord knows you had enough pre-game prep time to prepare for it. Fucking jackasses.

3. Jim Tressel, despite Brent Cuntsberger's keen "observations," is not the greatest play-caller in college football. Dude busted through the line and took it to the house. It wasn't a double-reverse or a flea-flicker, it was a simple run where dude simply busted through the line, you fucking moron.

DIE, Cuntsberger, DIE.

Goddamn, I seriously hate that POS.

All that being said, and aside from ABC treating this game as if it were the fucking Super Bowl, fantastic game, on the field.

The scripted Ohio is neat to watch but since it's not my team, I don't care about who dots the I or whatever...nor would I expect someone to give a crap about 'The Victors' or the slapping of the M Club banner before the game. I do think the 'Play Like A Champion' sign at Notre Dame Stadium is a cool tradition for the Irish players. All traditions and rivalries have their own regional importance...I don't need the national media telling me why I should care. I'd like to learn more about what all schools do and not just the important ones.
