The Texas meltdown is now complete

Post by Vito Corleone »

Wow, what a complete meltdown and trashing of a promising season. I can't believe this is the same team that beat Nebraska and Oklahoma. I have no idea what went wrong except somewhere this team lost their confidence. Honestly this reminds me of the 1984 season which started off much like this one and ended with several straight losses.

Congrats to the frisco, Ag Gal (please come back) and the aggie team for hanging tough and beating a team that is a shell of what it was at the beginning of the season.

I personally am not looking forward to the Cotton/Holiday bowl we are going to get waxed.

To top it off McCoy left on a stretcher after a flagrant helmet to helmet hit that the ref kind of overlooked.

Not even close...he was hit in the shoulder.

I hate texass, but...

I just can't stand seeing injured players looking like squirming ragged dolls on the field. Hope Mccoy is ok.

See ya in San Diego.

Wow, it was almost like somebody put a hit out on McCoy. Dude was getting killed.

Rack the Aggies for the big win. I've met Fran a couple of times and he's always been very friendly. I'm happy he finally got a statement win.

Horn fan, I wouldn't give up on the Big 12 title just yet. OSU is nails at home and I think tomorrow is a toss-up.

Maybe it was helmet to shoulder, I don't know. Guess my emotions are boiling over at the point. It did look awful close though.

I hate Kal too. I would love nothing more than to get a chance to pound on Kal. That would be a sweet way to end the year.

Nice win for Frenchione ... probably a job-saving one. aTm brought it today and played a hell of a defensive game. Texas looked like they were still in a post-Turkey sleep haze. I kept waiting for them to wake up, but they never did.

Word out of Austin is Colt has pinched nerve and was already released from the hospital. Glad to hear it is not a more serious injury.

Fran MAY be finally turning things around at ATM. He'll have McGee and Goodson for a couple more years and the D has come far from last year's abysmal showing. Wouldn't surprise me to see ATM in the conference-title mix next season.

Congrats on a likely trip to Kansas City, fortunately the crowd will be 'sker-heavy, including myself. Hopefully we can be a bit of an equalizer. Any updates on the status of Peterson?

A healthy Peterson would be a big x-factor. Without him I think we stack-up decently, your D is better our O is better. You're probably a little better overall but we'll pretty-much have home-field to offset that some. With him your O jumps a notch from adequate to dangerous.
