I don't have the blackberry, but I have verizons version of the palm device, the Treo. Its IE is a palm version of windows mobile 5.0 but it's outdated for some websites. Some JS and some php code won't run. I get pop up messages here and there saying I need to update my version of windows. Plus, not all websites are handheld compliant, so you get really wacky displays.

Suposedly they are coming out with a newer version in 2007.

It's actually an issue with Nextel and the Blackberry Browser. Have a client who needs to access an app using windows authentication, so he needs IE on it. We have all the setup instructions, but can't find where to download. I found that site, but it's huge and I didn't feel like registering to ask the question. I figured someone here might know. Ih well, maybe I'll register and lay the groundwork for a an old school troll train.

I've never seen an Internet Explorer for Blackberry. I would either call up RIM and ask if your problem is solvable by the built in browser or if they know a different browser for the BB. I found about 4 browsers, but some only worked on certain, non Nextel Blackberrys.
