pick a star player and fellate him, and then beat the shit out of his teammates..

"that was a stupid play", "terrible decision", etc.

Majerus is also in this angle because he does even less homework than Craig James.....he's in love with "NBA potential" and bashes players who aren't.

I'd give a left arm to see Raftery or Len Elmore do a final four instead of Packer. Elmore would be my first choice.

Packer is pretty much a meaner and less energetic version of Vitale...he's just as much of a cheerleader for a team or player but doesn't throw out all of the silly cliches and catchphrases and become a muppet with a microphone.

I'll tip my cap to the Gators today...that is a sound ass-kicking they are putting on the Buckeyes right now. Killing them on the glass and bombing away from the outside...teams that do that consistently don't lose too often. OSU needs some seasoning but in March, these guys will be scary. The Gators are just rolling on from last year's success...can't put it past them to repeat after seeing today's game.

agree with both posts...the Gators were hitting on all cylinders and OSU just was flat and couldn't hit anything in the second half...I hope they use this as a lesson...get them ready for a March run...they still only go about 7 deep which could be a problem...but as I stated in another post they had 5 marquee games this year Non Con

UNC - loss
Cincy - win
ISU - win
FLA - loss
Tenn - still to be played...

I think I said I would be happy with a 3-2 split plus running through a potentially better than advertised Big 10 hopefully at a high level...

we shall see...props to the Gators...

Can you really count that when Oden wasn't playing? You guys gave them a battle in Chapel Hill without that manchild in the lineup. I would've loved to see him check Hanbrough in that tilt. Maybe in March, we can see that clash of young big men.

^^^^^^^

I refuse to play the if we had game...we had him against FLA and it didn't mean dick...so a loss is a loss...you play who your dealt...we played them very tough without him and could have won that game had we not started the second half 0-5 and then let them stretch their run to 12-2 at one point in the second half...

eventually 3 point shooting goes a little cold and in a crucial juncture of the 2nd half of that game that is what happened...

same could be said for FLA yesterday...THEY WERE ON FIRE in the second half...again props and all that stuff...

we lost we move on...

that Ohio State-UNC game was about the best 30 minutes of basketball i've seen all year. UNC pulled away.....but that was a great game.
