Outstanding instances of depth?

Quality depth: the Holy Grail of roster filling. Are there instances where you recall seeing a position on any team loaded such that it impressed you?

On offense: 1989 and 1990 49ers QB depth chart: Montana, Young, Bono. Say what you will about Bono (you can't take that 76 yard scamper for a TD against the Cards away from him!)... not bad for a third QB.

On Defense: 2000 Ravens Defensive Tackle: Sam Adams, Larry Webster, Tony Siragusa and Lionel Dalton.

Far from this being an "all-time best" dispute thread, I'm thinking any memory shared in this sort of reminiscence will benefit in jogging others memories.
And it's still the beginning of fukkin' July.

1992 Dallas Cowboys Defensive Tackles:

Tony Casillas
Chad Hennings
Jimmie Jones
Russell Maryland

1992 Dallas Cowboys Defensive Ends
Charles Haley
Jim Jeffcoat
Leon Lett
Tony Tolbert

Not a bad group IMO

Ditto.

In fact, I DEFY anybody to name a team that had a more talented group of players (starters AND backups) than the 92-94 Cowboys....hey DF, are you SURE C. Hennings was on that 92 squad?

The '89 and '90 Raiders had outstanding running back depth.
