Weis to get statue in the Cafeteria?

Post by SoCalTrjn »

A statue of Ara Parseghian will be dedicated at Notre Dame Stadium before the Sept. 22 Michigan State game.

The statue -- which shows him being carried off the field after a win over top-ranked Texas in the 1971 Cotton Bowl -- will be inside Gate D, designated the national title coaches gate. It has bas-relief portraits of Knute Rockne, Frank Leahy, Parseghian, Dan Devine and Lou Holtz.

So where are they going to put the statue of Charlie Weis, in the cafeteria?

I heard a comment on radio this morning that maybe Weis rode Tom Brady to his "genius" status. I guess it helps when you have one of the best qbs to ever suit em up running your offense.

Not saying I agree just makes you wonder.

Aren't the statue/#retirement games famous for the home team shitting the bed? Book it, Sparty rolls.

Yep, Weis rode a second year, 6th round QB to the title. He had no track record before that.

I'm sure Pete will get a statue near the girls locker room, complete with his dick out of his pants. Just like real life.

Whoa there little fella......not saying he didn't have a "track record" before Brady but you must admit he became the "hot" name after those 3 Super Bowls and it seems like NE is doing just fine without him.....

You mustn't have doubt grasshopper.......

He became a "hot" name after three Superbowls, huh? You don't say. Funny how that happens. I'm sure he had nothing to do with that.

How many Superbowl wins do the Pats have without Weis? You know, since the Pats are doing just fine without him.

Gosh....seems like they were in the conference title game(and on the way to the SB) before their defense took a shit....but hey....this is a college football forum.

And Rack, let's see how ole Charlie does today, thanks.

I expected them to win that game anyways...they want revenge from choking away that game last year at Spartan Stadium.
