Breaking News: More Cheating by the Pats

Post by Mikey »

When is the NFL going to insititue a Death Penalty rule?
Brady the latest Patriot to break the rules
Wednesday, Oct 17, 2007 10:20 am EDT

When it comes to the NFL's uniform police, no one is above the law. The Boston Globe reported New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been fined for not having his chin strap properly buckled.

Reiss reports that Brady's agent, Don Yee, confirmed the fine but would not say how much Brady was fined or which game the violation occurred in.

This isn't the first such fine for the Patriots this season; defensive lineman Ty Warren was fined $7,500 for not having his chin strap buckled in a Sept. 23 game against the Bills. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said teams were notified before the season and reminded multiple times that the league would be cracking down on unbuckled chin straps as an effort to prevent concussions.

Oh, the humanity!

I think the rest of the NFL would rather Tom continue to play without a chip strap.

You can say that again.

And again

Why would a QB not want his helmet strapped to his head? You would think they would have a bit more sense.

Maybe Brady wants to know how Trent Green feels....

That rule reminds of the seatbelt law...you don't have to wear a seatbelt but they put the law in place for your own safety. I don't know what medical evidence is behind the NFL putting something like that in place. I guess it's just another C.Y.A. tactic by the league so they don't get anymore heat from ex-players suffered head injuries and how they can't live a normal life.

Is that what we're calling telling it like it really is these days?

Interesting, to say the least.

Every time someone slaps you upside your cocksucker or you get piled on for your incessant stupidity and vacuous posting style, they’re ankle-biting, right? You’re not telling it like it is, you're telling it like you wish it was.

Amusing, to say the least.
