I ignore College Football with ease most of the time, so I don't know anything about the particulars in the content of the smack. maybe, but if you are a legit NC team then yeah.....these are the kind of games you have to win. once Harrell had OU's db's playing react/cautious it was over. a scenario OU fan has seen before. 34-10 is not a hole you crawl out of too often. Oklahoma's OL is a vastly overrated group. with a couple exceptions, they can't line up and run the ball on people. that's something the "best OL in the nation" ought to be able to do.

Is Indiana going bowling for sure? I'm counting eight 7-win teams in the Big Ten, only 7 bowl bids for the Big Ten and little hope for Illinois to snare a BCS at-large bid.

That being said, there's a good possibility that the Pac-10's bid in the Armed Forces Bowl (at a minimum) goes at-large, and the 6-7 win rule all but guarantees that it would go to a Big Ten team in that event. That would guarantee a bowl bid for every Big Ten team with 7 or more wins.

I'd start getting more and more attention and acclaim for my very impressive arsenal of smack, then start rolling through even the most accomplished of smackers. Then, right around the end of October/beginning of November, I'd really really need to get over in a smack battle to solidify my place in the top-tier smack bowls...


and I'd quickly get the holy-buhjeezus slapped out of me by Trix and/or TiC.

Then, I'd slowly fade into oblivion, not to be heard from until next September, save for maybe a page 2 headline in late December announcing how I got smacked around by Atomic Punk in Las Vegas or El Paso.
