Priest Holmes was an exceptional ball-carrier, but his priorities were/are/always will be in the following order ...

1. Priest Holmes
2. Priest Holmes
3. Priest Holmes

When the camera was on, Priest always liked talking warm-fuzzies (it helped build up his image and bottom-line potential, after all), but he always managed to come up short on delivering said warm-fuzzies. Off the field, he was as ruthless as you'll ever see when it comes to being a selfish money-grubbing mercenary. Team Priest foundation out front should have told you.

While I don't fault him (or any other professional athlete) for that mentality, as long as they're producing on the field, the double-speak gets a bit tiresome.

Thanks for your service, Priest. Enjoy retirement.

FTFY, even though essentially it means the same thing.

Water under the bridge, but how badly do you suppose KC regrets trading Michael Bennett right about now?

for a guy who rarely saw the rock at Texas, he had a pretty decent career.
""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"
