You have no one to blame but yourselves Bucs fans

That is, when your team's playoff game is blacked out.

Bucs selling playoff tickets to Florida residents only

Considering that a simple ticket master search for Bucs-Giants tickets turned up a pair of 2nd level 50 yard line seats one day before the blackout, I'm guessing that Buc fans won't be watching their pewter clad team on TV this weekend.

I'm actually very surprised that this game is not sold out yet. Cant even think of a decent reason to give for this either. As few playoff games that have been played here over the years when there was a game, tickets "were" damn tough to get a hold of.

I'm sure it will sell out and the blackout will be lifted, but it is sad that this is even an issue. I'll be there nevertheless. Let em sell the remaining tickets to NY fan, will make for a good gameday environment.

Im also very suprised, even going back to the meaningless falcons game, the stadium was sold out........ Ticketmaster only have about 1000 tickets left for sale, the bulk of the game tickets for sale are on sites like stubhub.... Im not worried, the game will end up being sold out, and the bucs will stomp the Giants, and i will be on the sidelines to watch it all

Got my tix about 2 weeks ago Mike. Season ticket holders had to decide whether or not to purchase our seats for playoff games almost a month before it was even a given we would host a playoff game. The kick in the nuts is we had to pay for NFC championship game tix also because we could theoretically host it :meds: .

You run a camera at all the Buc games Cam?

Ticketmaster has only 1000 tickets left? I guess that's why when I just did a search on Ticketmaster before posting I was able to find a block of 6 seats on the 2nd level at the 35 yard line?

Hope the Glazer's enjoy those 20,000 empty seats this Sunday.

It is?

Then explain to me why, THIS MORNING, Ticketmaster is still offering blocks of up to 6 tickets in prime seating locations.

Dumbass.

Never mind, I see that the NFL has given the Bucs a fig leaf to cover themselves with. In addition to allowing out of staters to now buy tickets, the NFL has declared the non sellout to be a sellout "for TV purposes".

Yea, sure there's less than 500 tickets. And I'm Dewey Fucking Selmon.

Bri, not sure why you'd care about whether the Bucs game is sold out or not, but the fact that you've done searches on Ticketmaster for 3 consecutive days to ascertain the availablity of tickets tells me one thing.

You have waaay to much time on your hands, brah.

Because shit teams like the Bucs always resort to lame tactics to frustrate fans of teams with large nationwide fan bases. Giants fan could be Steelers fan someday.

Nah, it really doesn't take that much time. In fact, it's a lot quicker than Googling. Besides, if I believed what I read in the papers, I would have possibly done something stupid, like say believing what Cam posted.

PS: Just out of curiosity, I looked again this morning (Sunday). Bucs fans still haven't sold the place out, despite what the NFL says.

Judging by the amount of Giants fans there today, the tactic didn't work as well as the Bucs would have hoped. There were a ton of tickets available on Ticketmaster and Stub Hub all week.
