Do you think yesterdays win vindicates Norvy as a HC, or does he have to beat the colts to get removed from the "Not One Real postseason Victory" list?
WTF are you talking about? Shottenhiemer got the Dolts to the Divisional round last year. Now if they beat the Colts next week, then you have something to talk about.mvscal wrote:He has already done a better job than Douchenbagger, if that's what you're getting at.
Norvelous shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Marty Schottenheimer. Marty's regular season record and number of times he got his teams to the postseason speak for themselves. Ignorant players (sup' Marlon McCree) and bad refs have generally screwed him in the playoffs.mvscal wrote:I don't even know what that's supposed to mean. I couldn't care less what he did in Washington and Oakland.
He has already done a better job than Douchenbagger, if that's what you're getting at.
More than Norvelous has.mvscal wrote:How many playoff games did Douchenbagger win?
He's won 5 games. Not exactly stellar, but better than Norv's 2 wins.mvscal wrote:How many playoff games did Douchenbagger win?BSmack wrote:WTF are you talking about?
And so far Norv has gotten the Bolts right back to where Marty had them last year. Minus the home field "advantage" of course.mvscal wrote:Try again. I already said I don't give a fuck about what Norv did at Washington and Oakland. Why would I give a fuck about what Douchenbagger did in Fat Retard City?
Marty didn't win shit in San Diego.
..considering the opponent and Antonio Gates available, I don't think a loss (a blowout notwithstanding) to the Colts would taint Norv's reputation much However, a win over Indy, (a better squad than the Bolts) at Indy would remove Norv from your list.Mister Bushice wrote:Do you think yesterdays win vindicates Norvy as a HC, or does he have to beat the colts to get removed from the "Not One Real postseason Victory" list?
You do realize the NFL was founded WAY before Tomlinson was drafted?mvscal wrote:Post season victories:

Last year the Blots were 4th in total offense and 10th in total defense.
This year they were 20th in total offense and 14th in total defense.
Last year they went 14-2.
This year they went 11-5.
And the 11-5 was accomplished this year by beating up on an ass-weak division.
Your team has REGRESSED under pineapple head.
You got over at home on a very .... blah .... Teet.an team at home in the wildcard round.
Great job!
Check back and hand in your evaluation of Norv after this weekend's game.
Booooo! Get off the stage!poptart wrote:Chargertard is verrah amusing.

You do understand that obtaining a first round bye IS equivalent to winning a playoff game? Do you?mvscal wrote:"The truth" is that they won the division last year and they won the division this year and this year they did something that no Charger team has done in 13 years...namely win a playoff game.
Yes, that is an improvement over the Shittenheimer era.
Yea, it is. And unless the Bolts win this week, Norv will have not have surpassed Marty's job last year. EOS.mvscal wrote:No, it isn't. Not in any way shape or form.BSmack wrote:You do understand that obtaining a first round bye IS equivalent to winning a playoff game?
It most certainly is equivalent to a game. In fact, it is better than having to play a game. That's why teams will fight for the privilege of having a first round bye.mvscal wrote:A bye is not a game nor is it equivalent to a game. The difference is abundantly clear to anyone who isn't slowly suffocating in his own colon.
By definition, the Chargers have made the divisional round of the playoffs> Which is exactly what they did last year. To say anything else makes you a fucking moron.mvscal wrote:By definitition, a bye is the absence of a game. So when you say that a bye is the same thing as winning a game or even playing a game, it makes you a fucking moron.
Is that so?BSmack wrote: That's why teams will fight for the privilege of having a first round bye.
OK, I need to know. Are you joking or are you a piss-ignorant slunt?trev wrote:Is that so?BSmack wrote: That's why teams will fight for the privilege of having a first round bye.
Prima donna princesses might, but hard core players want to keep playing.

A tough schedule?mvscal wrote:Who gives a fuck? They did it this year by playing a tough schedule and advancing in the first round of the playoffs. Something fuckhead never did in his years coaching this team.
You can't win or lose during a bye week, you fucking dipshit. It isn't the same thing.
All you need to know is that you are off subject of the thread and need to add your 2 cents elsewhere.Goober McTuber wrote:OK, I need to know. Did I touch a nerve with the princess comment?Neely8 wrote:
Is that why most of them took Week 17 off?
So your telling me that battered and bruised players do not want a week off? Coaches do not want an extra week to prepare?
Brilliant.....
The fact remains that the Chargers had an easy schedule AND that the relative easy/difficulty of scheduling is determined AFTER the teams play the games, not BEFORE.mvscal wrote:Due to the fact that the other teams in the division sucked even worse than they were expected to suck, but those teams have to be played regardless and the strength of the schedule isn't determined at the end of the season, fuckwit.
And they went 2-3 in those games. Niiiice. ;)Out of the 10 non-division games, 5 of them were against playoff bound teams.
Yeah, I'm sure the "princesses" in NE, IND, DAL, and GB were pretty pissed off at the NFL that they didn't get to play last week.trev wrote:Is that so?BSmack wrote: That's why teams will fight for the privilege of having a first round bye.

Doesn't matter you "said". What you typed was incredibly stupid, and that's being kind.trev wrote: Did I say they were "pissed?"
No, to properly comment on the subject I have to know whether you’re just trolling or you’re a Grade A Certified loon.trev wrote:All you need to know is that you are off subject of the thread and need to add your 2 cents elsewhere.Goober McTuber wrote:OK, I need to know. Good luck v. the Clots.
If you win that one I'll kiss Norv's pinkie ring.
