Pretty sure that euphemism was a Wolfie slip-up from years ago. Surprised you've never stumbled across it until now.

WW, yep, I must've missed that, if this is a Wolfie re-set. Like I said, I'm guessing there's some sort of longstanding joke being referenced here, 'cause I know socal knows how the actual "batten down the hatches" saying goes...

My memory isn't what it used to be, but I vaguely recall that coming from Wolfie. Either him or Jsc. I also recall a fairly good natured pile-on ensued before that term also became part of T1B lexicon.
