Why?
Iverson again? Why did an already shit franchise, on the road to a lottery pick, bring back a player that has the capability of improving this team marginally and thus decreasing their lottery balls?

I would have laughed at almost any other team signing him -- but with Philly's current situation, it's a perfect fit (financially, anyway).

Because bankruptcy is looming for all but about 8 franchises in the NBA right now and keeping the franchise and league afloat is a little bit more fucking important than a couple of lottery balls at this point in time.
