My guess is it's off the board until there is an update on Garrard.
I noticed games being off the board last year, also - when there were "significant" injury questions.

That's what you've got to play.
If you wanted to play the alleged 4.5, you needed to jump on it and post it then and there.
If you want to play the SEA -7 line, let me know here.
I disqualify your SEA -4.5 pick.

Re: Three Best Bets - Week Six Results, Week Seven Games
I just use the line posted in my Sunday morning paper, damned if I'm going to try to read the fucked up mess that are the Yahoo lines. Then again, I'm 5-13 so what do I know.Jsc810 wrote:I still haven't figured out what is so bad about everyone using the same lines for the same games.
Re: Three Best Bets - Week Six Results, Week Seven Games
There's nothing bad about that, Jsc.Jsc wrote:I still haven't figured out what is so bad about everyone using the same lines for the same games.
We can play it that way and it'll be fine.
I post one line for each game and we all play that one non-moving line.
The multiple (moving) lines is an interesting twist to the game and it can make the game more stategic.
But I'm about ready to give up playing the Yahoo page because of bullshit and malcontents.

Re: Three Best Bets - Week Six Results, Week Seven Games
The game is called Three BEST Bets. The point is to find the three best lines, regardless of source. Poptart provides the Yahoo listing of lines so that people have a convenient listing of lines to choose from. If you don't like it, don't play. Or, go fuck yourself.Jsc810 wrote:I still haven't figured out what is so bad about everyone using the same lines for the same games.

Re: Three Best Bets - Week Six Results, Week Seven Games
I would like to assume that all participants in the Three Best Bets have the character not to cheat in a worthless pick 'em game. If you cheat in this game, you know you are a worthless piece of shit. Find your Best Bets, make your plays, or don't.

Shut the fuck up, Mr. 28%. Get a fucking clue and start making some decent picks before you start telling people how to run their game. If someone had done nothing more than pick every game opposite of BudLite Wagon, they would be in second place with a 72% pick rate. What do you mean, alleged 4.5? Here's a link to the site that shows the line history at all the major books, including all of the ones your game is linked to:poptart wrote:Ucan't, what was the SBC GLOBAL line at the time you posted your pick?

I don't need to make shit up. As far as you disqualifying my pick, that's fine. It's your game. I just don't always have the time during the week to research this, and admittedly, have been a Johnny come lately a few times. But whatever... it's no biggie.
Just a suggestion though to make it easier on you... set one line on Thu after the 1st injury report comes out and have everyone abide by it. It'd make life easier on you.

I think you just made his life easier with that link. That's how we should play going forward. Go to covers.com and find your line. If there's any problem (there should NEVER be any, this is a game for fun) with the number, the post time can be matched against the line moves for that game. Problem solved.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:What do you mean, alleged 4.5? BTW: Your line would have been SEA -7. You would have covered anyway.

And I finished 2nd in the pick 'em game last year, 1 game back. What was your record?
I've been playing in the NFL forum pick 'em games on these boards since 2000, twatlips, and I'll damn sure give my opinion on how a game should or should not be run.
In the end, it's up to 'tart to decide how to run his game but I can damn sure bet that my opinion carries more weight than yours.
