Pass. Half you tards don't even know who Paul Simon is. Cee-Lo Green? Fuck you.
Friend of mine went to Coachella. It was his fifth straight year going and he said it was the best.

Re: Coachella...Schmoachella
Exactly.Cee-Lo Green? Fuck you.
Cee Lo headed into his monster hit “Fuck You!” and finished his set with “Don’t Stop Believing.”

Somehow he doesn't seem to fit into the scene. Must be nappy hairs everywhere.

Did you see my Broken Social Scene link in the video thread? Whitey says they just might be WORSE than MGMT. Don't know how I'll ever live that down.

This isn't about Wags. This is about your taste in gay music... Or your gay taste in music... Or the music you listen to when you taste gays. One of the three.Screw_Michigan wrote:Did you see my Broken Social Scene link in the video thread? Whitey says they just might be WORSE than MGMT. Don't know how I'll ever live that down.

That's actually a decent lineup (and they'll announce more soon) for a festival in a backwater shithole like you reside. Christ, four million people in metro DC and we can only get some shit one-dayer headlined by the Strokes at Merriweather.

Oh and memo to KC Tard: you'll notice that 95% of extended day music festivals are NOT aimed at the 50 and up age bracket.

That might just be the WORST festival lineup of all time. Appropriate it is in Wisky.

Re: Coachella...Schmoachella
Do you mean the thread where you self immolated in some of the worst KHOA of all-time? Is that what you're flapping your cock-baster about? I am not sure which part went worse for you... when you tried calling me out for dropping Justin Beiber smack or the part where you somehow thought tying in me hiring Moving Sale… for God knows what , made a lick of fucking sense. If you really want to revisit this, go ahead.Truman wrote:Where the hell's ucant's Fag-o-Meter when you need it?
All you had... all you'll ever have is... I know you are but what am I. Do you really think that thread went well for you? Of course you do? You're from Kansas fucking City.

If you think some of the indie stuff Screw links to is bad, just listen to mainstream "alternative" rock or 90s/00s post-grunge and nu metal. Staind, Puddle of Mudd, Daughtry, etc. Truly some of the most unlistenable garbage on the planet.Sudden Sam wrote:Jesus, Goobs. That's rough. Cheap Trick's the only band I'd have any interest in amongst that group. And they sure as hell wouldn't be enough to get my ass out for that.

Candlebox is a decent band...for that lineup. Dave Krusen was the drummer on Pearl Jam's Ten.

Re: Coachella...Schmoachella
I have a KISS story.
I saw Skid Row, Ted Nugent and Kiss in May 2000, while I was wrapping up my senior year of high school. I was working at the Class A ballpark in Grand Rapids at the time (second best job I ever had) and the same staffing company that staffed the ballpark staffed Van Andel Arena, and they needed ushers for the concert. I was still listening to a lot of classic rock at the time, so I was intrigued to see Ted Nugent and Kiss.
I ended up in the upper level far away from the stage. I didn't know jack shit about Skid Row so I didn't really pay attention to any of their songs. Which sucks because one guy came up to me at the end of their set and asked me if they played 18 and Life. At the time, I never heard the song, so I asked him what the words were. And the dude literally sung the opening verse to me, along with the high-pitched wail of WORKED HIS FINGERS TO THE BOOOOOOOOONE! Although I did hear I Remember You before. That was it.
Ted came on. He sucked. I was really disappointed. Made me glad I didn't buy one of the $30 Nuge shirts with the middle finger on it.
I was actually impressed with Kiss. Love Gun was great. Sure, I'm not exactly spinning Kiss albums nowadays, but when I was 18, it was kind of cool.
Of course, being a rock concert, there's tons of people smoking and being drunk in the upper level. A bunch of times, this one woman kept coming up to me, whining about people smoking in her section how they wouldn't sit down. I told her "give me a break, you're at a rock concert. If you don't want to be by drunk people smoking in the stands, buy a ticket in the lower level next time."
Now that I think about it, I would have been more geared up for Skid Row than any of the other two shit bands.

They are playing here Sept. 28th, headliner for Night Ranger and Foreigner. Wifey is scoring some free 7th row tickets but if I have anything to do with it, and I will, we'll be long gone before Journey hits the stage.
How in fuck anybody decided that Journey should be the headliner over Foreigner is beyond my comprehension. But that works out well for me since I won't have to endure a set from Journey waiting for Foreigner.

Wait...there's a difference between Foreigner and Journey? Is this like Bud Light vs Miller Lite? I figured they just changed outfits and hair dyes before going back on stage.War Wagon wrote:How in fuck anybody decided that Journey should be the headliner over Foreigner is beyond my comprehension.
