Giants - Packers
I don't think I've seen Rodgers miss that badly on a throw all season. Giants caught a break, should be 7-3 right now.

Re: Giants - Packers
Eli all day to throw + Packers piss poor tackling = easy TD.
Jesus fuck, where's the pass rush?

Re: Giants - Packers
Much like the rest of the season, the Packers' D is MIA.
When January comes and the weather gets iffy, track-meets don't always go well.
Going about how I thought so far, but lots of ball to play.

Giants got fucked, that was a fumble.
Re: Giants - Packers
Royally fucked, and of course Green Bay goes on to score the TD. How on earth did they not overturn that call?

Going to be tough going against 2 opponents now. Guess his cleat was on the ground before the fumble. Bill Leavy better be heavily reprimanded.War Wagon wrote:Home cooking, I guess.Van wrote:How on earth did they not overturn that call?

Re: Giants - Packers
the hell of it is that initially it was ruled a fumble on the field, and then some other ref overruled that call, forcing the challenge. :?

Re: Giants - Packers
wow, taking turns dropping/giving the ball away now.
Not so epic of a game so far, but neither was N.O. - SF until the final 5 minutes.

Looks like a home game next week for the Niners.
Re: Giants - Packers

Blow to the head? Horrible call.
Credit to the Giants for playing a hell of a game but the Packers have done everything possible to help them out with drops and turnovers.

That would be one for the ages. Where would Mom and Dad sit?Van wrote:Mikey, so...Harbaugh vs Harbaugh Part II, for all the marbles?
I'm thinking the Niners won't mind too much if the Giants hold on and win this. They've already beaten the Giants once this season and would love a second chance agains the Ravens.

There sure are a lot of Victor Cruz fans in the house today.

Re: Giants - Packers
Just from a fan's standpoint who has no dog in the hunt, I still would've rather seen a New Orleans-Green Bay rematch. That would've been one fun game.
I guess now I'll root for a Super Bowl XLII rematch. I really don't want to see boring ass Baltimore at all, and a Baltimore-San Francisco rematch would be the NFL equivalent of Bama-LSU.

It's inconceivable that a zebra would watch that in the replay booth and come out with that call.Van wrote:Royally fucked, and of course Green Bay goes on to score the TD. How on earth did they not overturn that call?
Can't happen.
Fraud.
NFL replay is such a joke.
HUGE blot on the sport.

Goob, Packer fan at the local watering hole have been so full of themselves (Patriot fan is a close second) it brought back all the disdain I had for them when the Bucs were still in the Black & Blue division. You would probably fit in quite well with them.

Re: Giants - Packers
Not at all. That defense was a ticking time bomb. I picked New Orleans to win the conference, and told anyone who would listen last week that the Giants were going to be an extremely tough matchup. You remind me of all the tard Buc fans I used to have to deal with back when Tampa Bay was marginally relevant.Bucmonkey wrote:Goob, Packer fan at the local watering hole have been so full of themselves (Patriot fan is a close second) it brought back all the disdain I had for them when the Bucs were still in the Black & Blue division.
