I wasn't sure if you have a FB page or not, but I really need you to help me get the word out on some animals that are available for adoption @ Colombus, GA Animal Control.

A whole lot of these little guys & girls are scheduled to be euthanized by the end of the day tomorrow, and it's just breaking my heart because many of them are JUST puppies.


This baby girl is not more than 2 months old?!!





Anyhow, please lemme know if you'd be willing to help me do some "networking" for these sweet souls, as you're the only person I know in the area.

I love animals too, but not to the extent I have to go out and shove it on others. Did you torture your pets when you were young?

There are pet rescues all over the country. I'm basically just offering to help people who may be looking for a specific breed, age, etc. Many of these shelters will adopt "out of state", and there are a number of rescue orgs. that will help transport your pet to you for free.

Some folks aren't aware of that, which is why I offered to help. I suppose I should've left out the "in your area" part.

Weather permitting, I take my dog(s) for walks most every day. They also have a large fenced in back yard to romp in.

She's 8 pounds underweight, has hook and heart worms.

I just dropped $450 at the vet to get her lined out. Yeah, we're keeping her.

When I brought my German Shepard home from the KC animal shelter clink, he got sick in a few days with parvo. I called them up and was like "what are you going to do about this"? They told me to bring him back, they would give me my money back, put him and every animal in the shelter down because parvo is a bitch and a death sentence.

Mind you, these stupid fucks thought he was a pit bull and weren't going to allow me to adopt him. I told them to go fuck themselves. I took him to the vet where they told me they might be able to nurse him back to health, maybe a 50/50 chance he'd survive but a 100% chance that either way, it was going to be expensive.

That was 9 years ago and ucants' remonstrances aside, he's still my spoiled baby.

We adopted my sweet Bekkah B. from a shelter in Washington state back in 2006. The "pet counselor" advised against it, as she was about 9 yrs. old, and they believed she had Cushings disease and would probably not survive the rest of the month. She was missing most of her fur, and had blood in her urine, which was supposedly due to a tumor on her kidney.

Anyhow, we decided to take her home with us and ply her with love for as long as she'd allow, rather than let her pass away in the shelter. As luck would have it, she just had a food allergy and a UTI. We put her on a prescription diet and 10 days of antibiotics, and after a few months....all her soft and cuddly fur grew back.





That was a little over five years ago from last October, and then my little girl left me.


Aside from having my son, she was the best decision I ever made.
