It's really a shame that the people that run for political office are such douchebags. We end up trying to choose between the lesser of the assholes. Even then, it seems that the majority make decisions on the wrong criteria and we end up with garbage ideas coming to fruition.
"Ask yourself: how has "elitism" become a bad word in American politics? There is simply no other walk of life in which extraordinary talent and rigorous training are denigrated. We want elite pilots to fly our planes, elite troops to undertake our most critical missions, elite athletes to represent us in competition and elite scientists to devote the most productive years of their lives to curing our diseases. And yet, when it comes time to vest people with even greater responsibilities, we consider it a virtue to shun any and all standards of excellence. When it comes to choosing the people whose thoughts and actions will decide the fates of millions, then we suddenly want someone just like us, someone fit to have a beer with, someone down-to-earth—in fact, almost anyone, provided that he or she doesn't seem too intelligent or well educated.”

Two questions come to mind.
1. Do you have a Cleveland zip code?
2. Are we also paying for unlimited data plans?

Well that's it then, SS, you've now no choice but to vote for Mitt! That is, after you wipe the Santorum off your butt.

Yes, but it's not like you can watch porno on those tiny little cellphone screens. We should be buying them iPads.

Damn. I thought it was a secret that I was cutting a check to Warren Buffet for his vacations. I realize everyone knows that I help pay for Barry Sotero's junkets.

For them as well as doctors & ambulance chasers like you who 'ave "professional seminars" at resorts but spend little time actually learning...while writing off the whole expense.88 wrote:Are you saying that paying for vacations for the wealthy is an improper use of union dues?Diego in Seattle wrote:Why not? He's simply angry than he can't deduct the time he spends stalking and grooming his underage victims.88 wrote:The next ambulance I chase will be my first. But that mistake aside, how does a doctor or a lawyer lawfully deducting the expense of a "professional seminar" from his or her gross income constitute you "paying for vacations of the wealthy"?
