Romney wants to lower the Corp tax rate from 35% to 25% - this will spur hiring.
He wants to make the Bush tax cuts permenant and roll back federal healthcare mandate which will spur hiring

Obama's plan is for Govt. spending to put people back to work (roads and bridges is the mantra)
Everything else he wants to do (education, enviornment, healthcare) all is based on Govt spending

Do you honestly believe Govt. Spending will fix the economy?

do you honestly think the president has that much effect on the economy?


and haven't you noticed a boatload of economists saying that Romney's numbers don't add up? haven't you noticed people saying his plan will never work? haven't you seen the people bringing up that "magic" is a major component of his plan to fix the economy? and his inability to provide specifics gives you confidence in his abilities?

Investing in education is bad? Haven't public schools always been run with tax dollars? Guaranteed student loans for college students? That's a bad idea?

Rebuilding roads, bridges, and schools is bad? Haven't we always spent tax dollars for that too? Don't privately owned contractors get paid for that?

We aren't going to escape, nor should we, government spending on any of the items you mentioned, Scott. Are you trying to say that Romney will not spend government money for these things and that's a good reason to vote for him?
