I started out 4-0 on my picks this week and proceeded to lose the next six in a row. Fuck me.

Props to Carson on winning the regular season title (the TRUE champion, imo).

Thanks to 88 for distracting me from Auburn's season this year.

Now come the bowl picks, which will ream me bloody I'm sure.

So, what, I don't get to be the top loser this year? Whatever. I still need you guys to heap praise on me. I mentioned that I do my picks my dad's way, right?

Saved my best for last. #3 is my highest ever ranking in a week. Not too shabby for a moron and his first ever venture into this contest. Thanks for putting it on.

Finishing the season with my worst showing was not what I needed, given my slim hopes of qualifying for the finals entering the final week.

Thanks to 88 for running this. And props to all the finalists, especially Carson.

Btw, I forgot about the 10% surcharge on losses. That means I would've lost money over the year. The amount ($28 for the season, or $2 per week on average) wouldn't have been a back-breaker, but there are better ways to spend the money. OTOH, I did fairly well on the must-pick games, many of which I probably would've avoided but for the rules of this game, so probably a worse showing by me overall had I been betting real money in Vegas.

ironically enough, in 2010 I snuck into the Bowl pick'em contest by winning the final week of the regular season.

Not sure what that means but I could use another football.
