Will Adrian Peterson light up the Packers again today?

Post by Mace »

I don't think so. I think the Pack will hold him down and win this game.

Peterson will get his but Rodgers will torch that shorthanded Vikings secondary...isn't Cobb supposed to be back for the game?

Why does he even risk flipping the ball in the air when he's about to be sacked on 3rd down? He's done that twice now...just go down and take the punt, dummy!

Webb is totally melting. It makes Frazier look like a complete tool for his smirky pregame soundbyte about wanting to rest Ponder so he could be ready for next week.

Good luck with that.

Even Shoelace cringed at that arm punt.

That was a hideous display of flinging to end the half...what is a McLeod Bethel-Thompson?

C'mon...

Tebow might make bad throws but he doesn't shit his pants and panic under pressure. Webb is a mess. Let's see if he can pull it together for the second half, but it isn't looking good for home slice.

I just heard that the Chiefs are trying to make a trade for Joe Webb.

No pressure at all kid. Aaron Rodgers is cornholing your defense and your special teams is asleep at the wheel. Nothing at all to worry about.

Will 'The Legend of Joe Webb" be born tonight?

Peterson is a lot like Jim Brown. Neither one of them blocked for shit and weren't particularly great receivers. They're both pure runners.

I'm guessing Gerhardt's pass protection and blitz pickups are the reason he plays on third down and Peterson doesn't.

Yeah OK, chief. I'm sure that hasn't occured to anyone else before. It's pretty simple. He isn't in on third down passing situations is because he sucks in third down passing situations.

I'm beginning to suspect that he's an idiot but I suppose you're right. I might be giving him too much credit. I have no idea of Ponder's injury but Frazier sitting there saying they want to make sure he's good to go for next week struck me as bizarrely out of touch with reality. Either he's a total moron or he was in the extreme stages of sleep deprivation.

Peterson's blocking ability is negligible and his 40 receptions for 200 yards aren't impressive either. Those are checkdown dump offs. He has a higher average yards per rush than per reception. He just isn't a very good third down option. Nobody's perfect.
