"We" haven't. There's absolute;ly nothing new on this front since the charges came up over 2 years ago. I guess the NCAA has been too busy with PSU and Miami to be bothered with little ol' Oregon.
We all knew their meteoric rise
Winningest PAC team of the 90's, and off the top of my head, I believe only one losing season (just barely) in 20 years, multiple conference championships dating back 18 years... I don't think "meteoric" means what you think it means.

but now that they've been nailed, we ignore it?
Because the NCAA is ignoring it. As Duckfan, it's been frustrating -- "justice" has been delayed to ridiculousness. Been waiting 2 years to hear any more about it, and it's not happening.

The University of Oregon football program that Kelly left behind in January agreed that it committed major NCAA violations, according to Monday reports from Eugene-based newspaper The Oregonian and Portland-based TV station KATU.
Not important, but The Oregonian (aka Snoregonian) is Portland-based. The Register-Guard is the Eugene paper, which has the most U of O coverage.

Writing on the wall seems to point to less-than-debilitating sanctions. Even with "repeat offender" status(got whacked in 2004 for recruiting), the people commenting (ex-NCAA officials and whatnot) don't think there will be a bowl ban (they're learning their lessons about their cash-cows (sup USC, OSU)). "Betting line" is trending towards a 2-3 schollie a year penalty. Maybe losing a member of the recruiting staff.

As far as being "dirty" -- Lyles got ~$25K... the average amount a Bama player gets per game.

Hi.

Sin, Dude In Front

Oregon, other than last year and the year they lost to Auburn, has been no threat to anyone outside of their conference.
Your thoughts, AngryMike?

Uhm...

How about...

Same number as Bama.

7 out of the last 13.

Which is more than Bama over last 13 years.

Getting old playing havoc with your memory?

How many national titles do you guys have? It doesn't even have to be recent. You can go back as far as you'd like.

This relates to "meteoric rise" how, exactly?

7 of the last 13 years is "rare"?

You mean in the last 20 years, a few years after some dude started pumping hundreds of millions into the facilities?

Weird how thaty works.

At least they're not Cal.
All-time, they have a worse winning % than Cal. Surprised me too.

In fact, if one were to rank the current Pac-12 members in that category, it would look like:

1. USC .701
2. Washington .611
3. Arizona State .605
4. Utah .592
5. Colorado .591
6. UCLA .584
7. Stanford .574
8. Arizona .571
9. Cal .561
10. Oregon .557
11. Washington State .492
12. Oregon State .483

Severe SEC bias.

Anyway, back to my question. So that's, what, 2 or 3 National Champoinships for Oregon then?

How so?

You're really going to go there?

Which team vacated wins in the last 10 years... Bama, or Oregon?

Now you're just being a dumbass, wearing the Crimson-colored goggles.

In fact, only USC can rival Bama's record for being dirty in the post-SMU era... dumbass. Bama just got off probation... AGAIN.

Not to be rude... but act like a dumbass, and you get called a dumbass.

So in context with this thread - "meteoric rise" discussion....per you, a team can only have "risen" if it wins a MNC?

Final poll rankings 2-20 are totally meaningless?

Does cooperation with the NCAA and self inflicted penalties not matter in your world?

Oregon self imposed penalties, something USC never did. That should go a long way in determining how severe the NCAA punishment is. Hell, many at SC still think they didn't break any rules.
