Lord knows the RRod years numbed me to it. What I cannot stand is playing pussyball. Al Borges laid down like Jerry Sandusky at a Little Rascals film festival. I mean he pussied the final possession of regulation and all four OT's. Running up the middle with Gardner under center didn't work against Akron, why would it work vs PSU? What was working was Gardner in the gun with a read option or a straight quick pass. How the fuck my dumb ass can see it and a career OC like Borges cannot beats the ever loving fuck out of me. Hoke is to blame as well. He coaches game days without a headset putting full faith in his coordinators....fuck that! Put on the old Bo/Mo/Lloyd era headset and tell your underlings what you want. This staff is so damned conservative it absolutely cost those kids a huge road win. Running up the middle on offense and rushing only 3 on defense cost that pussy staff the game! I get that he lets his assistants call the plays and he doesn't want to meddle, but doesn't he at least want to know what's being called in? He's basically just a figurehead out there.

UM better shore up that defense too, because IU's offense is no joke. Those guys can move the ball against anybody.
