Burns is hands down the best ever when it comes to documentaries .

His best work... to date.

Been recording it. What I've seen so far is excellent. Mr. Burns is indeed very good.

Who would want to see an intimate Eleanor Roosevelt?

I haven't had time to watch. Looking forward to the inevitable run on Netflix.

You should get a DVR. They're quite handy.

Burns is good. His series on baseball is probably the best thing to ever air on PBS.

I cut the cord. I get what I need with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime and other "sources.". I have the PBS app on my Roku. What I do not have in abundance is the time to watch a mini series. When I do have the time again I expect the show will be on Netflix, like the other Burns specials..

I want to pull the trigger on that too. I just need to get a better computer to watch stuff on. Desktop is to inconvenient and ipad is to small. I think I need a MacBook.

Huh. I would have thought an iPad looked like 70" flatscreen to you, Tiny.

Get a Roku. The thing is the size of a hockey puck, will connect to your network and can get you a shitload of content. The downside is that they do offer some content that is only available to pay TV subscribers. But there are plenty of other channels.

Roku also has an app to use your iPhone as a remote, so you can actually type when you search for shit. Plus you can stream content from your device, in case you want to make a slide show of all the lesbians you've finger banged getting married or something.

As for the Roosevelts or any Ken Burns production......I'll see it when it's on netflix too. I still haven't gotten around to watching all of Baseball yet.

baseball came out right after my grandpa died. i would have given anything to have watched it with him as he was a baseball fan and saw pretty much all of it in real time.

you really do need to watch every bit of it. fukk, it would be good television to someone with absolutely no interest in baseball.
