Kid's table debate.
Anybody watch it?
Anybody give a fukk?
I kind of liked Carly. Would like to see a Carly/Hillary catfight.

Don'y watch those at all. I heard a clip of Carly on Mark Levin. She sounds like one sharp cookie.

Looks like AP played a GOP debate drinking game.

So Bsuck, you are saying any of those on the dreaded list are GOP types? Flew over your head didn't it? Then again, everyone's balls dangle over your head.

Re: Kid's table debate.
What did you slappies think about the adult's table debate. I liked Ben Carson. Just like his down to earth personality. Trump did a good job telling meg kelly to stfu. Huckleberry was OK on some stuff, but sounded like a moron on the SS debacle. Getting rid of congressional pensions, while a good idea, isn't a fart in the SS hurricane. Gotta give it up to fat boy for having the guts (and he certainly has plenty of guts) to dare touch that subject. I suspect that in reality, many people, even the old codgers, know SS needs some serious mods to change its current actuarial death sentence.

Fiorina crushed it. She's going to be a major force in this election. The only fly in the ointment would be if she is the Veep choice, she won't get the chance to pound Hillary into the ground in person during a debate-- something I'd pay good money to see.

It is hilarious how highly you think of these turds you call candidates. You would probably watch the Bad News Bears and think they were the 1927 Yankees.Rooster wrote:Fiorina crushed it. Re: Kid's table debate.
You're kidding yourself if you don't realize that Fiorina has positioned herself-- assuming she can continue to capitalize on her success yesterday --for greatly increased visibility and coverage from the press. Just the Nielson rating alone and the discussion afterward will have an immediate effect on the race to place her in the spotlight. For argument's sake let's say that she remains a solid campaigner, but fails to ignite the public's interest. Of all the candidates she is positioning herself best to run as the second half of the Republican ticket. She speaks well, has her policy points down, doesn't avoid the tough questions like Hillary and Trump do, and is the only female in a male dominated race. And should she wrangle the nomination, she'd be singularly able to take shots at Hillary that no male ever could without incurring the wrath of the mainstream media.
Like I said, she'll be a force to be respected regardless if she's the nominee. If not this election cycle, it'll be another one shortly thereafter.

Bernie is a loser hippy who would likely be living in a homeless shelter were it not for politics. I will say one thing for him though, he is authentic, unlike shillary.

Re: Kid's table debate.
We have been a social welfare state since 1933. You could say as far back as 1913 if you consider the Fed regulating money as a function of welfare. Your beloved Ronnie Rayguns even signed off on continuing Social Security and Bush the Stupid signed off on EXPANDING Medicare. Grow the fuck up.

It's a matter of degree.
Yes, FDR got things rolling along pretty well and LBJ turned it up a notch, but what we are seeing today and what Bernie wants is to turn it up to 11.

I am fine with limiting welfare to a period of years, not expanding it to everyone in the country.

Re: Kid's table debate.
Can we apply the same principle to corporations? Or is it just brown kids who trick or treat in your neighborhood that you want to shut down?

Re: Kid's table debate.
Perfect. So let's go to the flat tax of 10% on both individual income and corporate income. Then throw out all the decutions. Then get rid of tax brackets and apply the same rules to everyone.
Corporate welfare would largely disappear overnight.
Somehow I doubt you are on board though despite what you claim above.

This is the dumbest fucking shit I've ever seen posted here. You just debated how Pixels was going to top the new Fantastic Four movie for Academy Awards and disguised it as a candidate discussion for the GOP nominations.
