So, for me this Pick'Em season (probably the best regular season I've had over the years, although I don't have stats), Bowling Green was pretty money ATS. But they gave a bunch of points, so I was up in the air. So, I picked it based on the fact that I drove through Georgia Southern's campus this summer (serious Jethroville, BTW. Got stared at for having less than 40" tires on the rental Camry... no joke). They were even out practicing football as we went by. Seemed like a good reason, although I loved me some BGSU all season.
I need to employ more of this thinking in next year's contest. And if I have no connection, I should probably base my picks on... whoever is closest to the color of whatever I'm wearing, which I'm sure is as good a system as what I'm doing.

Did Indiana get screwed? It looks like Oaken's kick might've slipped inside. Of course, refs can't review FGs, because, you know, that would make too much sense.

That was fucking embarrassing. UCLA flat out sucks, but they did lose a lot of talent on defense early in the season.Papa Willie wrote:FUCK UCLA.
They're fucking Syracuse/Pitt West!
Their FR QB is pretty good but not the world beater that everybody seems to think he is.
Oh, and Nebraska is a lot better than their W/L would indicate.
