Damn, don't know if any of you caught the end of the Zurich Classic, but Chris DiMarco has about a 15 footer just off the green for the outright win. If he two putts he ties Petrovic in the clubhouse. He blows the putt by 5 feet then misses on the second putt. I can understand wanting to end it there, but being so aggressive that you leave yourself a five footer coming back is not the way to consistently win on the tour.
I'm sure he's probably kicking himself with a lot of "if I'd only" or "why did you", but he should have never put himself in that position. As my old golf teacher used to tell me,
"The only thing you can control is your own game--never beat yourself, make the other guy beat you"
I like DiMarco and I wonder how much this will affect him in the future.....
