I remember the Toronto Maple Leafs AAA baseball team in the International League back in the 1950's. Elston Howard was a catcher for them in maybe' 54 when I was going to Syracuse Chiefs ball games.
I didn't even mention Canada Day to Mrs.O. She became a US citizen in 2004. I guess I should have ordered some Canadian bacon for breakfast this morning.
