So Senator Dick Durbin is asking his fellow Democrat senators who are up for re-election in red states to take one for the team and not vote for Trump’s SCOTUS pick. Why you may ask? Because this Supreme is
so important for the Progressive agenda that another conservative will crush their
legislative err,
judicial activism, umm, I mean interpretation of the Constitution for the next generation. Never mind that he considers these particular senators rather expendable since they’re not really on the Dem team seeing as they are moderate and not neo-Socialists, thus not really dependable members of of the donkey party. And never mind that Durbin himself isn’t up for re-election and thus is safe up at Capital Hill.
