It’s true. A sad, but largely unknown aspect of the Global War on Terror is the fact that it was actually the result of a typographical error. Originally GWoT was understood to be an eco-terrorist plot against trees, but some faceless and nameless bureaucrat deep in the bowels of the Pentagon mistakenly changed Trees to “Terror.” Ever since that moment we’ve been purposefully and uselessly tracking down Arab men who only want to worship Allah via the religion of peace. Lots of blood and treasure have been spent since then on this mistake.

There are many YouTube videos on the aftermath of the California wild fires with many anomalies. Aluminum melted, houses that look to be burned from the inside out, with adjoining trees and other shrubs seemingly untouched. That doesn't appear to be damage caused by wild fires.

Are you the only one left that doesn't by now know about the Directed Energy Weapons testing?

Exactly. They could have been originally installed in that saggy-ass condition for art deco reasons. But I think it is more likely that Bush hired a secret team of demolition experts to sneak into the home to plant thermite when the people living in the home weren't paying attention.
Wtf are you talking about? They are bent horizontally to the I beam not vertically. And when does that equal weakened?

Do your eyes not work? The upper most beams on the left most side of the photo are clearly deflected in the vertical plane.

You are now denying photo evidence? The beam on the upper left where the front joint is hidden behind the tree is clearly deflected in the vertical plane.

I’m denying that the pic says what you say it says. If it’s so clear show me.
And there are no joists. They were made of (probably) wood and burned in the fire which is why the beam twisted, which is what beams do when constructed w/o metal joists.

That makes a lot of sense, seeing as how Democrats outnumber Republicans in Butte County. I guess they're burning themselves out as well.

No one has mentioned joists. You brought that up. I said joint. Of course the wood joists burned. That plus the load on the beams caused them to deflect in both the x and y axis.

Wood joists in a structural steel building ?? Really ?? News flash you fucking idiot...wood is not used in "joists" of a steel framed building.
Structural steel building, clad in metal. Likely a lot of content load. Fairly intense fire ( probably fueled by spray on insulation until the sheeting melted. The architecture of the building says it was high end design. The burned out hulk of a formerly very expensive Ford Bronco, says there was a lot of things in there to burn. Your postulation about the beams twisting after the wood burned away, is like the rest of your statements, complete horseshit.
Take a look at the complete absence of structural wood combined with the metal. Surf around the site to get a better understanding of structural steel construction.

Uh... Derron... bro... that was the funny here. Left said "joints," Midget then rants about "joists."
I've worked on a bunch of small structural steel buildings, like the one pictured (some smaller, some bigger). And they all had one thing in common -- no structural wood. The occasional door or cabinet.
But leave it to Queerland to think a slab-on-grade structure has joists. One of the more entertaining parts of this board is when the Tossing Victim tries to sound smart.

Are you implying that that steel I beam is like a wood I joist and that it will get all wobly in the horizontal access, if it doesn't have something to hold it straight?
I'm no structural engineer, but I have seen similar I beams. They are not wobbly in any axis.
That beam has deformed in at least one axis, as a result of getting a little warm. It did not melt. It just bent.
Wanna guess what it would have done if it had 40 stories sitting on top of it?
It would have collapsed.

An I beam's usage is dependent on it's length. A long I beam makes a sound that reads like "eye" and is good for lengthy spans. A short I beam is denoted by the "U" shape-- like the beams in the picture --and are generally found in burnt out hulks of steel buildings. They make a sound like the "i" in
idiot, which, apropo of Kierland's post is quite descriptive of the man himself.

FYI,
They are referred to as W sections, as in wide flange. There are a couple of other classes based on nuances of the shape transition from the web to the flange.
Carry on with your discussion of eye-beams.

Read the sentence - "structural wood" you fucking stupid cunt. The wood in your picture has jack shit to do with the structural part of the building. Interior floor is supported by the wood joists attached to the steel beams. The wood has nothing to do with structural support. Wood is often used for interior walls and floors. Adds to the fuel load when it burns to get those heats up there to help out on warping the structural steel along with the altered load inputs.
Anything else you want to kick your own ass with today ??
