2024 Three Best Bets - Week 1

Fans, the first game of the 2024 NFL season kicks off in just over a week.

SM and I will again be sharing duties for 3BB this season, and I will be handling the first half of the season.

Our defending champion is -----> Steve Jobs.

I have posted the rules for our game, and if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, you can post them in this thread, or hit me or SM up with a PM if you'd like.


Rules
I (or later in the season, SM) will post the lines for the weekly NFL games.
You may make between 0 to 3 picks in a given week.
You may pick vs. the spread and/or vs. the over/under.
Each participant may make ONE "Triple Play Lock of the Year" pick at any time in the season they like. That pick will be worth +3 or -3 for you.
The contest will run all the way to the Super Bowl, so there will be 22 weeks of games.
In order to be eligible for the title at the end of the season, you must make a minimum of 44 picks this season.
The player with the highest winning percentage will be declared CHAMPION.

What is the entry deadline? Anytime before kick off?

Can we stagger the (up to) three picks per week, or have to submit in one post?

Can I pick twice on one game, once on spread and once on over/under?

Do the odds change?

Hi Iron Mike, and I'm glad to see you here!

You can make a pick for a game anytime before the kickoff of that game.
So yes, you can "stagger" picks. All of your picks for a week do not have to come in one post.

Yes, you cam make two picks on the same game -- one pick against the spread and one pick on the over/under.

Once the lines for the week have been posted, they will not ever change.
