Blind copy

Email for business purposes is the standard, it is convenient, but loaded with pitfalls. There’s very limited use for bcc, a message copy sent to an additional recipient, without the primary recipient being made aware. [added just for you]
The only legitimate use is mass emailing when you do not want to expose the email address of others on the list. Other than that, bcc is a deceptive practice, and it is a trust killer. And it feeds into office politics. Like a freak'n secret society.
"The memo you sent to me is just for me. Right?"
