SWJ seems to have been around a minute, but is new
to me. Dork has a great sound...



Heading to the pool shortly. This swimming thing is hard.
My technique is still a mess, and my breathing is just
a disaster. I can run for days, but just a couple of laps
in the pool has me huffing and puffing like I was
sprinting hills. It is very frustrating to see fat asses
both male and female, that are easily 10 years older
than me in their late 60's, just blowing right by me
in the pool, and they just keep going and going.
Meanwhile, I am having to stop, hyperventilate,
and catch my breath for 10 to 15 seconds every lap
or two. Youtube swimming vids have not been my
friend.

5 day weekend here. Honeydo's, and a shit load of
football. The NFL should not be playing games at the
same time as the college playoff that we have waited
decades to finally see. This scenario will be requiring
a 2 tv set up today. Chiefs at noon vs the Texans...
the first of 2 games in 5 days.
Just gotta win both of these, lock up the home field,
and the final game will be meaningless. Get the starters
rested up for the 3pete (50 days away).
Not really caring who wins Pitt vs Bmore, but just
hoping that Bmore really puts a good physical pounding
on Pitt.
I hate all things Big10, so go SMU and Tenn.

Making a big pot of brisket chili tomorrow. Will
it be t1b photo worthy? tbd.

Yeah that is something to avoid if possible.

Waiting to get my haircut. Then later will go thru the Christmas menu and hit the grocery stores for whatever is needed. I've got most of the Christmas gifts bought but still need to pick up a couple. Also ti.e to drain the hot tub and give it some new water.

The first of the four daughters arrive tomorrow. Very much looking forward to seeing all of them together again, doesn't happen that often anymore.

Gonna miss Tune Town tonight. It's Frank Zappa's birfday and I'm sure Smackie would make the most of it.

Good idea to make sure there's no red water in there when the kids arrive.

I had some chest pain yesterday. It didn't kill me today so it was probably sore muscles is all.

I'm traveling again this weekend. Just got back from moving a kid to a new apartment. I was longing for Tune Town on the drive but made due with some Tim Dillon podcasts. Tomorrow morning I drive to the airport to pick up another kid on his return trip from Charlotte, NC.

The play/injury occurred at 11:40 in the 3rd qtr.
The game could have, should have really, ended right
then and there. Hou managed a meaningless field goal
later, but that game OVER the second CJ started bawling
like a 5 year old that tripped and skinned her knee.
That little bitch has some talent, but zero balls. She will
never win a game that matters.

Take it easy. Tank Dell is his best friend, and that was an absolutely gruesome injury.
