Mass casualty event on Bourbon Street

There's been a mass murder/terrorism kind of attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. A truck plowed into a crowd, after which the driver exchanged gunfire with the police. At the time I'm posting this, there doesn't seem to be word yet about any description of the driver. (Probably Asian) Is poptart still in Houston?
The initial casualty count is 10 dead plus 30 injured.

1) How did the Biden administration invite this to happen?
2) How is it that Biden, as you allege, invited this to happen when Trump didn't invite the 1/6 insurrection to happen?

1- Duh. Open border. Inviting hundreds, if not thousands, of terrorists in. Records show people on terrorist watch lists were/are a daily occurrence at the border. There is no way of knowing how many got through…and continue to enter. Biden and the Democratic party have exhibited a complete disregard for the security of America. It would require immense stupidity to think his policies haven’t infested us with enemy agents.
2 - Huh? I’ve never commented about 1/6. I’ve never defended or blamed anyone. That event doesn’t remotely compare with this one anyway.

The vast majority are coming simply for jobs. So what have Trump and the GOP done to eliminate those jobs?
Looked the other way.
Trump doesn't want to upset his supporters, including wealthy individuals who illegally employ these immigrants.
Why didn't Trump go after those who are attracting those immigrants?
Why does the GOP continue to hamstring efforts to improve the border?

According to your source he was a US citizen and served in the US Army. But don’t let that get in the way of your and Sam’s unhinged narrative.

Two key points:
If Bourbon Street was an official gun-free zone OR if we had massive federal gun bans across the board, this tragedy could have been averted completely.
The silver lining here is there were likely many greedy, slimy company CEOs walking around Bourbon Street last night that could have been taken out for the greater good of society. Hopefully all of the casualties were CEOs, or at worst, CFOs.

I guess Biden should have personally tracked down this US citizen and Army veteran and escorted him to the border to deport him. Because of course he should have known this was coming.
This place is full of hysterical old women. EAD.

It's amazing to watch our resident Leftists dismiss mass murder in order to run cover for their team.

Who is dismissing anything? Another strawman from the king of strawmen.
It’s your side that’s constantly trying to distort the facts in order to falsely cast blame for this tragedy where it doesn’t belong. That’s pretty disgusting.

It’s very easy to get emotional during such a tragic event, but you are one of the bluebloods of this board— along with me, Diego, m2 and Screwy. We need you to keep your head, especially when you-know-who (and his fellow Nazi Socialists of the Fourth Reich) take office again. I realize this is difficult— blue issues are sometimes more emotional than logical. But you must keep your head, we need you in this fight! Don’t feel triggered!

Typical Cali mindset. The rest of the country is too stupid to realize Joe Biden dindu nuffin and was the bestest president since FDR. The border was secure even though nobody went there to see it and the only reason millions of unvetted immigrants crossed the border for 4 years is because Muh Truuump killed a shitty border bill in month 42 of Biden's presidency. Everybody just too stupid to know everything is the bad Orange Man's fault.

We will be dealing with similar attacks as those Europe has been experiencing since Merkel et al opened their doors to a Muslim invasion.
Previously clean, crime-free areas of Sweden, Germany, Belgium, France and other locales are now dangerous and crime-ridden.
But let’s remain woke and tolerant and ignore reality. Keep the border open and ignore U.S. law.
Anyone who defends Biden’s border policy is a fool. Of course no one in here has justified his administration allowing millions of illegal immigrants…because you can’t! You fools would defend arming admitted ISIS operatives.

The suspect was named as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who was killed in a firefight with police. The FBI says he may have had help.

Doesn’t matter. It’s the principle that counts. Especially if you can exploit a mass murder to make an unrelated political point.
