So much wrong with this.
First point of failure will be the beam rolling off the ladders.
Second point of failure will be the cinder blocks laying on their sides. They should be vertical with wood protecting them from sharp points.
I don't know what to expect of the propane tanks. What's the crush point of those? Not much, probably.

Well, safety issues aside yes they work. Pretty creative too, kind of a gorilla approach. And it looks like the screw driver is helping to heat the room. Fuse rating MDL 200.

As for the engine hoist, at first glance I just saw the step ladder and beam. I figured, meh, I've done sketchier shit. Looks like a sturdy beam and good fiberglass ladders.

I doubt the screwdriver has enough impedance to generate many BTUs.
It is better than using the typical 1/4-20 no blow fuse, as you can remove it without getting lit up.

I remember watching my neighbor when I was about 5 or 6 rebuilding his mailbox one weekend. He was retired and he and his wife traveled a good bit to see grandkids. His mailbox had been run over a few times so he was making sure he would have a measure of revenge the next time. He used old drill pipe and had the pipe welded into a T shape. He sunk the T of pipe upside down in the ground and backfilled the removed dirt with concrete. He then filled the upright part of the pipe with concrete. To that he bolted on the mailbox part.
Some weeks later I remember hearing a crazy loud bang and my mom looking out the window. After she saw what it was, we went outside along with a good portion of the other neighbors. There was a truck up against his mailbox post and it was spewing steam and fluids. A couple of the dads were dealing with the driver who was in bad shape. Cops and an ambulance weren’t far behind.
Never considered doing anything to a mailbox after that.

The mailbox, as described, is fortified but isn't designed necessarily to hurt anyone. My dad surrounded the mailbox post with cinderblocks (save your emails, clones). I have no problem whatsoever with doing this with mailboxes (I actually encourage it).
