Trade Advice
One of my fantasy temas got jammed when Javon Walker went donw for the season. My current horrible recieving corps is now:
Chris Chambers
Ashley Lelie
Antwaan Randel-El
Charles Rogers
Arnaz Battle
Also at QB I have:
Brett Favre
Trent Green
I have been offered the following trade:
To Me:
Aaron Brooks
Isaac Bruce
To Him:
Trent Green
Charles Rogers
I am leaning towards going for it. Opinions?

You'd be a fool to get rid of Trent Green!See You Next Wednesday wrote:One of my fantasy temas got jammed when Javon Walker went donw for the season. My current horrible recieving corps is now:

Ashley Lelie has more upside than Bruce, although Bruce will still be productive he isn't the primary option in St Louis..
Giving up Trent Green you should be able to get a decent #1 WR. But I'd be leery about trading Green, and would try to move Favre instead. I believe he's heading for a difficult season, with not just with the loss of Walker, but Oline growing pains as well.
Favre is still a wildcard and the Pack will be behind in most games. I'd use that as my selling point.

Re: Trade Advice
and especially when you consider that Favre just lost his number one receiver (s'up Robert Ferguson on the waiver wire). Brooks has never been a big point guy in any FF league I've played in.frodo_biguns wrote:

Rogers will be splitting catches with the other two number one receivers the Lions have, so that's his primary drawback. I'd probably offer him Favre and Rogers for Bruce and Brooks, but fb is right--it would be foolish to get rid of Green. I'd pass on it.
get out, get out while there's still time

Start 3 recievers.
+0.25 / completion
-0.25/ / incompletion
+4 / passing TD
-3 / interception
+1 / 25 passing yards
+1 / 10 receiving yards
+6 / receiving TD
And there is nothing but scraps on the waiver wire.

He also has Chad Johnson and Steve Smith, but he is very enamoured with both of them. I offered Favre istead of Green and he declined. I offered Green, Crumpler, Chambers for D. Clark, Brooks and Ch. Johnson and he declined...go figure.
