Would you trade Hines Ward for Larry Fitzgerald?

Even I would consider that trade. Though Ward's week 1 numbers are hardly a reflection of his production for the rest of the year.

This is true. But the Cards have a system that will feed the ball to Fitzgerald like Krispy Kreame feeds doughnuts to KC Paul. Pittsburgh has a system that is run first, pass second. Pittsburgh has also added a scoring threat a TE that they did not have before.

In a redraft PPR league I'd take Ward over Fitz. If you don't get PPRs, I'd lean toward Fitz.

In a dynasty league, Fitz all the way.

No PPR, just yardage and td with no bonues. I proposed the trade to get Fitz and I wanted to see what others thought.

We start 2 QBs in our league - My Current QBs are:

Brooks
Leftwich
Rattay
Volek

Hence the need to make this deal

I def would. Parker had a great game on Sunday- but it was against a Tennessee D with no realy players anymore. When he goes against a solid D (B-More * 2) the question remians how he will do. Plus- when Staley is healthy he will lose carries and when the BUS is back- he loses goalline touches.

I would take Green and Rhoades... it will be good to handcuff Edge's backup in case he gets hurt- and Green will put up MAD points for you. Brady is a great Q/B- but not as much from a fantasy perspecitve.
Yeah fuckers.... I'm back

You always seem to identify the weak link in a league don't ya Scott?

That's probably at least as important as having a good draft.

Rack that! I traded for McNabb two years ago for Kitna & Riemersma and Peyton Manning last year for Hassleback and Bubba Franks.

You have to ask yourself if it is worth giving up a potential Top 5 RB for a mid level QB and a handcuff for Edge. The reason Bettis vultured so many touches from Staley is that Staley wasn't able to break off those 8-10 yard scoring runs. Parker doesn't have a problem with those. Also, Bettis and Staley could keep a MASH unit on overtime. Also, let's look at the end of season schedule for the Steelers.

13 Dec 4 1:00 Cincinnati Bengals
14 Dec 11 1:00 Chicago Bears
15 Dec 18 1:00 at Minnesota Vikings
16 Dec 24 1:00 at Cleveland Browns
17 Jan 1 1:00 Detroit Lions

See any good rushing defenses?
