TCU is not a top ten team. In fact, thier #11 ranking is entirely generous. TCU fans should be thankful for the gift and not bitch about ND. Fact is you barely beat ISU in what was essentially a home game.

I've grown accustomed to imagining the worst case scenario happen with the Clones....but even I didn't see this one. TCU didn't beat ISU, ISU beat ISU. No running game, or kicking game whatsoever. Virtually ignoring Blythe the second quarter. Oh well. To the rest of the Big 12, best of luck. Hopeful...

As a clone fan who is accustumed to the worst case scenario always being the exact thing that happens to the Cyclones, the B12 will go 3-1 on it's remaining games with the lone loss being ISU. They'll give up a 13 point lead in the fourth quarter and end up losing by a field goal in overtime......bo...

Thus begins the calls for Alford's head from the Jihadic wing of the Hawkeye nation. Clearly, losing Horner hurt them, but did it cost them the game? Hard saying but it probably wouldn't have been a double digit loss. If the Cyclones keep improving and can maintain the intensity they've had the last...

Depends on which Clone team shows up. The one that lost to Fresno and Iona and the Hawks win by 10. The one that played the other night at Drake and the Hawks could lose by 20. With Horner, I thought the Hawks had a more than decent chance of winning in Hilton. Without him it's going to be tough. Th...

In typical Iowa fashion, not many left the lots for the relative safety of Hilton Arena. Instead, most cracked a new beer and watched the lightning and clouds roll by. In actuality, the storm was about three miles to the west and missed the stadium. Most we got was some 30-40 mph winds and a cool li...

I don't know. I was at the game and I didn't see an inferior team playing Colorado. I saw two evenly matched teams playing each other straight up. A few defensive breaks by ISU was the difference in the game. And I would also say Colorado had MORE than a few calls go there way. From the bad spots, t...

I didn't say Nebraska couldn't recruit, I said they aren't going to be able to cherry pick like they used to. They won't be able to count on kids willing to walk on at Nebraska rather than take a full ride at schools like ISU, Missou, and Minnesota. In other words, they have to join the ranks of the...

Welcome to 21st century college football Husker fan. Here's why I don't think the Huskers will return to past glory anytime soon. One of the biggest reasons for the dominance of the Cornhuskers in the 70s, 80s, and 90s was its recruiting strength in the midwest as well as its walk on program. Quite ...

Outside of the those living Texas and Big 12 fans.....who cares?

This could be Iowa v Minnesota, UCLA v USC, Harvard v Yale. In other words a long running rivalry with plenty of passion but outside the faithful, just another football game. That's all I'm saying.

Winning at Phog Allen should be automatic B12 coach of the year. The rest of the road wins were gravy.

While TAM seems to have found a basketball program, scheduling the local high schools in your OOC schedule doesn't make your coach a genius only desperate to make the tourney.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if Iowa were to make the NCAA tourney, they would be the first at large team with a losing conference record to do so.
