I doubt the screwdriver has enough impedance to generate many BTUs.

It is better than using the typical 1/4-20 no blow fuse, as you can remove it without getting lit up.

Back when I was in the “business” (electrician) we mostly looked for Klein tools. Basically indestructible, I still have a lot of them 40 years later.

Anyhow, it’s never advisable to work in a panel while it’s energized. But if you must…
