Oakland vs. Dallas
Oakland vs. Dallas
Yeah, I'm a Chiefs fan, but I want the Silver and Black to kick the shit out of the Cowboys today.
Why?
Well, I usually have to work every Sunday and rarely get to see NFL games (except sometimes with a TV on in the background at work and the sound muted). I usually keep track of the games via the Internet, when I can at the office on Sundays.
So this week, I took vacation starting today -- one of the rare Sundays where I will be able to just sit back, chill out and really get into the games.
Only the local Fox affiliate here in Tulsa isn't showing the Eagles-Chiefs game at 3:15. They're showing the Cowboys-Raiders game.
Tulsa is geographically closer to Kansas City than Dallas, and from what I've seen of the peeps here who sport NFL gear, there seems to be more Chiefs fans in this area. Aside from that, however, let's take a look at the two games in question:
You have 1.) the defending NFC champs going into a sold-out, frienzied Arrowhead or 2.) a team that is lucky to have a winning record playing against a team that hasn't won a game yet in a stadium where they practically have to give away tickets. Yeah, from an on-paper standpoint, there's really no question which game should be better.
In addition, I find it highly ironic given how many so-called "Texas haters" there are in this state when it comes to COLLEGE FOOTBALL, but when it comes to the Cowboys, there's this perception that "well, people in Oklahoma root for them, so we should show them." FUCKING HYPOCRITES.
This may be the only time I say this, but I HOPE THE RAIDERS KICK THE EVERLOVING FUCK OUT OF THE BOYS TODAY.
FUCK the Cowboys and their percieved fan base here and FUCK my local Fox affiliate A-hole decision makers. I hope their fucking station gets hit by a tornado for this bullshit.

I hear ya, B. But like I said, this is one of the few Sundays I have OFF, as in, I don't have to go anywhere. UNWAR having to plan ahead due to local hypocrites running TV affiliates.BSmack wrote:You need to get out more often. Like to a bar with NFL ticket.
Btw, decided to make the most of my Sirius radio. At 17-0, and 10-3, now I can't leave. Don't want to mess up the vibe.

just the way they act after dodging a bullet, 2 assholes already called me from abroad to rub it in, all the assholes at the stadium act like they just won the fucking Super Bowl...
Good win for the Gayders
Not such a bad win for us...
Go Cowboys!

I hear you RF. Here in KC we're constantly subjected to watching the fucking Lambs because of that geographic proximity bullshit. Here's a fucking clue you goddamn idiot suits who make these inane decisions.
1. St. Loser isn't in our fucking division.
2. St. Loser isn't even in our fucking conference.
3. KC fan despises the fucking Lambs.
I hate everyone and everything right now.

I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

The O-line did a good job today, opened some room for him.The Assassin wrote:Lamont Jordan finally had a good game.
Also makes a difference when you're playing with a lead and have an opportunity to pound the run over and over.
Oakland was 2-10 on 3rd downs and they had 14 penalties for 85 yds.
They are near the bottom of the league in both of those areas.
They won't come CLOSE to making a playoff push if those aren't both improved upon.
Defense is playing a little ball, and that is sweet to see.
