Why?
Well, I usually have to work every Sunday and rarely get to see NFL games (except sometimes with a TV on in the background at work and the sound muted). I usually keep track of the games via the Internet, when I can at the office on Sundays.
So this week, I took vacation starting today -- one of the rare Sundays where I will be able to just sit back, chill out and really get into the games.
Only the local Fox affiliate here in Tulsa isn't showing the Eagles-Chiefs game at 3:15. They're showing the Cowboys-Raiders game.
Tulsa is geographically closer to Kansas City than Dallas, and from what I've seen of the peeps here who sport NFL gear, there seems to be more Chiefs fans in this area. Aside from that, however, let's take a look at the two games in question:
You have 1.) the defending NFC champs going into a sold-out, frienzied Arrowhead or 2.) a team that is lucky to have a winning record playing against a team that hasn't won a game yet in a stadium where they practically have to give away tickets. Yeah, from an on-paper standpoint, there's really no question which game should be better.

In addition, I find it highly ironic given how many so-called "Texas haters" there are in this state when it comes to COLLEGE FOOTBALL, but when it comes to the Cowboys, there's this perception that "well, people in Oklahoma root for them, so we should show them." FUCKING HYPOCRITES.
This may be the only time I say this, but I HOPE THE RAIDERS KICK THE EVERLOVING FUCK OUT OF THE BOYS TODAY.
FUCK the Cowboys and their percieved fan base here and FUCK my local Fox affiliate A-hole decision makers. I hope their fucking station gets hit by a tornado for this bullshit.
