Come on! What are you worried about Mr. Color TV Team?
I think Pittsburgh's resurgence is a tad overplayed, most of the teams they've beaten are fairly lackluster, and the demise of Cincy is overblown as they really only lost the 1 game since nobody gave a shit for the KC game and hardly any starters played.
Yea, they've piled on some crap teams. But they also beat the Bengals, at some with the same lineup they will be fielding tommorow in Paul Brown Stadium. So forgive us for feeling a bit confindent.
Cowher is impressive in opening round playoff games but his overall playoff track record (given the teams he's had) isn't much to brag about, they find ways to lose games they shouldn't all the time and got lucky to beat NYJ last year.
You do realize this is an opening round playoff game?
I think the game is a true tossup that could go either way.
We both know that's homerese for "WE'RE FUCKED!"
I think in the end though the fact that our offense WILL score is the only certainty in the game which leads to a hard fought and close victory.
Since shutout are about as rare as Humpbacked JHawk sightings these days, you're not exactly going out on a limb predicting points from the Bengals offense.
While Big Ben has proven he can throw if he has too, the way to beat Pitt is still by making them throw instead of run and that's what Carson and Co. will do.
Cincy- 31
Pitt- 28
What you meant to say was...
Steelers 28
Bengals 17
