OK Bengals fans...
Shine? petersmack?
Ye' old nemesis, Pittsburgh rolling into P. Brown stadium once again.
What's the feelings from the Bengals fans about this game? I could imagine being nervous as shit about this game as Pittsburgh has been playing well as of late and has playoff experience.
Any word on if Bengals fans will actually attend the game or will the sell their tickets for $100 and have half the stadium being Steelers fans like it usually is there?
I think this will be one of the better games to watch this weekend. Really could go either way and there are a lot of interesting matchups. Carson and Co. -v- Steelers secondary, Parker / Bettis -v- Cincy front seven.
Wouldn't surprise me to see whoever has the ball last win this one.
WAR - It NOT being this guy's last game.
WAR - This!

I'd love to see one of them try to run on the field.Cuda wrote:How many-k drunken fans in Cincy?

Long-time Bengal fan, but haven't posted here at all on the NFL board.
This will be a very tough game, especially coming off those last two losses (WTF?). The defense is banged up a little, and that scares me. Need a huge game out of Rudy to open up the passing game like we did in Pittsburgh. The Jungle helps us by about two points, I'm going with...

My feeling is, we finally get back into the playoffs and we gotta play THESE fuckers again!!!! I think Pittsburgh's resurgence is a tad overplayed, most of the teams they've beaten are fairly lackluster, and the demise of Cincy is overblown as they really only lost the 1 game since nobody gave a shit for the KC game and hardly any starters played. Cowher is impressive in opening round playoff games but his overall playoff track record (given the teams he's had) isn't much to brag about, they find ways to lose games they shouldn't all the time and got lucky to beat NYJ last year.DMike316 wrote: What's the feelings from the Bengals fans about this game? I think the game is a true tossup that could go either way. I think in the end though the fact that our offense WILL score is the only certainty in the game which leads to a hard fought and close victory. While Big Ben has proven he can throw if he has too, the way to beat Pitt is still by making them throw instead of run and that's what Carson and Co. will do.

Come on! What are you worried about Mr. Color TV Team?Shine wrote:My feeling is, we finally get back into the playoffs and we gotta play THESE fuckers again!!!!
Yea, they've piled on some crap teams. But they also beat the Bengals, at some with the same lineup they will be fielding tommorow in Paul Brown Stadium. So forgive us for feeling a bit confindent.I think Pittsburgh's resurgence is a tad overplayed, most of the teams they've beaten are fairly lackluster, and the demise of Cincy is overblown as they really only lost the 1 game since nobody gave a shit for the KC game and hardly any starters played.

We both know that's homerese for "WE'RE FUCKED!"I think the game is a true tossup that could go either way.
Since shutout are about as rare as Humpbacked JHawk sightings these days, you're not exactly going out on a limb predicting points from the Bengals offense.I think in the end though the fact that our offense WILL score is the only certainty in the game which leads to a hard fought and close victory.
What you meant to say was...While Big Ben has proven he can throw if he has too, the way to beat Pitt is still by making them throw instead of run and that's what Carson and Co. will do.
