I know with all the cool airplane work he partakes in he might not find the time. Then again no big deal if half asses building a 747 in between his epic posting, SURELY lives are not at stake. Got you to 11 bucks a hour yet?

He works with ESL programs. They don't ask much of him, just attendance. When he speaks, people listen, and there's much scribbling in notebooks.

Are your ACT notes up to date? Sales Manager wants to see who your top 5 calls were today. Did you see your main client this week? I don't think you have enough contacts within your top client. You want a peek at those GlenGarry leads? I pay you to go out there and repreent our company, not just take orders over the phone. Tell me why your top client isn't paying this receivable?

"Machine" use to be in charge when the robots had me cold-calling old people to sell them life insurance. Since the robots were bought out by German busniess interests and returned to their spaceship, I've been freed from my duress.

I need to see receipts for your expenses. You may say you were in front of the client, but the only way you are going to get reimbursed is to let me know where you were. If you say you're in Tacoma, but the gas station receipt is from down the street, you're in big trouble, buster.

Also, I have a report based upon outstanding receivables. We're taking 10% of this out of your commissions this month. If you don't want 10% taken out, get to the bottom of these receivables.

I was wondering how long it would take for some jackass to chim in with that remake. I've been in sales for over ten years cold calling is worthless. let me clarify so you understand, if I'm working a customer or have someone approved for a purchase and I need to close I'll pick up the phone and get the deal. I'll go to work for a customer if its worthwhile and they are serious buyers

Now if I have some shithead walk on the lot and tire kick me around I'm not going to ask for this guys number so I can sit in my office chasing dead ends and missing fresh ups on the lot. A good salesmen 90% of the time knows within 10 minutes if someone is worth working over or if its just better to move on.

I'm sure over the years I've missed a deal or two by accident but I've more than made that up by not telemarking worthless calls and getting outside and working fresh customers.

We already made you an offer. It's right there on the sticker. That's what Audi says we should ask for it.

You though, you just have to have it for less than Audi says, right? You're that guy, aren't you?

Fine, I'll enter into your clever ruse. Ball's in your court, hero. It's counter offer time, bitch. Shit, or get off the pot. I got skanks waiting for me inside on my intranet.

So you work for Saturn? Do you guys get a lot of positive feedback on the cheap-ass Little Tykes interior of the VUE?

No, I'm looking at an A4 down the street and want to compare it, and price, to this Volvo S40. They're saying 17even for their A4, so what is this S40 going to run me? Simple as that. No waltzing. No cha-cha. No "how's your mum."

Keep in mind the guy at the dealership wif the Audi smells of garlic and keeps telling me that my conversation doesn't rate. You've got to be nier than that meanie.

I eat maroons like this Bace character for lunch. Fuggen' greenpeas. You watch. Before we're done here I'll have him all over the gold package.

For an additional $99.95(today, and today only), we'll upgrade you to the deluxe floormat package.

Actually, let me check with my manager first -- I think they've been losing a lot of money on the Deluxe Floormat Package...let me go check.

OK, my manager says that we're not doing the Deluxe Floormat Package anymore, but since I made the mistake of bringing it up, he said I can go ahead and offer it to you...I'm really going to get my ass chewed for it later, though.

So, you want the floormats?

This story inspired by a buddy of mine, who ponied up an extra few bucks for some BS "floormat package" just to shut the slimebag ERRRR salesperson up. They even showed him how cool the mats looked in the car he picked out. Then, after he signed the papers, they brought his new car around front for him....he almost made it home before he noticed they'd taken the "deluxe floormats" back out, after he'd paid for them....classic.

The real difference in your BS smack is I don't ask for them to buy the warranty or the undercoat I just work it in the deal where they can't see it. I.E. in the TT&L fine print which no one reads properly.

Sorry, I was a bit late to the office this morning and hit the ground running. Taking a moment for some lunch and checking out the board, and what do I see? A callout thread in my honor.

Anyways, I see that you've engaged in some hubub about selling stuff.

So what is it you want?
