hey Dallas

Post by d-townmike »

I know you're all not happy about this worthless lunatic named Terrell Owens coming to your team this season, but after his performance on national TV tonight, I don't see him, or his mouth, making it past preseason.

I'm not a Mavericks fan by any means, but my girlfriend is, and we were watching the game tonight and they interviewed TO who was in the stands. Dude was wearing a fucking Heat jersey and a brand new Mavericks hat! He may as well have just said "fuck you Dallas, I'm just here for myself and the money" when he said, about him wearing the Mavs hat, "oh I thought I should start to show some love to this city somehow."

He's one hell of a wide receiver, but his mouth is what gives this dumbass his reputation and I'm so glad that Shanahan didn't get around to signing him. He wouldn't have survived one day at training camp with him as coach and since the Tuna is a lot more mean to his players than Shanny is, I don't see him lasting much longer after training camp either.

my condolences Dallas.

Agreed.

He's a top 3 or 4 receiver in games that mean virtually nothing. Get Me'O into a big game against a top level team with great chemistry and he's a peon. Rack our front office for not pulling the trigger when he was visiting Denver all offseason.

I think he'll be fine through training camp. He'll bite his tongue.. but about halfway through the season I think things are going to start falling apart. Dallas' line is weaker.. and the pass rushes of Philly, the Giants and the Skins alone will give Bledsoe headaches. He is not mobile and will not have a whole lot of time to throw the ball. That, combined with his rapport with Glenn will mean less balls for TO. I give it week 9/10 before TO goes off on Bledsoe.. and Drew is too think skinned to deal with TO's shit. He won't walk away like McNabb and Garcia did.

I didnt see anything wrong w/ what he said last night. He has more friends on the Heat and is a frequent visitor to Miami. Him and Shaq are boys. Lisa Salters asked him at the end of the interview who he thinks is going to win the series and he said, "I'm just a fan of the game. I have ties to both teams so I'll be happy no matter who wins."

I think TO is going to be on his best behavior this year IMO.

Are you sure?
NFL | Owens 8 hours late for his youth camp
From Inquirer Wire Services

Terrell Owens showed up eight hours late for his own football camp on Wednesday, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The new Dallas Cowboys receiver kept 90 players at the Terrell Owens Youth Football Camp waiting until 5 p.m. before he arrived.

The former Eagle threw passes to the campers and asked whether they had ever seen a better quarterback.

"Donovan McNabb," said one camper, giggling.
Rack that kid.

Well, he did catch the game winning TD pass with 8 secs left against GBay in that wild card game...and he did come back to play in that Super Bowl loss where he had over 120 rec yds after fracturing his fibula and severely spraining his ankle..so its a bit of a stretch to say he's a "peon" in big games.

I dont blame Denver for not taking him..they have a quality team now. Dallas doesn't have much to lose at this point..

What are we talking about here? Comments on a basketball game? Man, we're talking about a few comments on a basketball game. Not a Superbowl, NFC Championship game, or critical division game. We're talking about a basketball game.

Pathetic melting bitches. Let TO give you some real juicy shiznit during the season. Don't start stroking your vienna sausages about some comments he made at a basketball game.

Funny how these Dallas fans hated TO's guts when he disgraced the star, now they swing from his nuts shamelessly.

Make no mistake, I hate TO and will never swing from his nuts. However his words at a basketball game are irrelevant as to how he will be in a football locker room. I honestly don't think he'll hold up and will be the cancer he has always been.

Nice going Tart. We need the audio clip for that one.

Those words he uttered at that game are just a preview of how this douchebag will completely bring down that locker room this season.

And that's assuming he even makes it past the preseason games without running his mouth about how Parcells won't give him enough playing time or Bledsoe won't throw him the ball and he'll take all that, along with his loser agent and end up back on ESPN crying like a little girl.

I'm just curious, Cowboy fan, how will you react if/when TO does score his first touchdown at Texas Stadium and he celebrates on the star?

Yea, cause no selfish players have EVER won Super Bowls.

Shit, this is football, not kindergarten. Sometimes the kids who don't play nice get over. I'm no fan of TO, but if the Cowboys lose this year, it will be because Drew Bledsoe is a fucking cadaver in pads, not because of TO.

I didn't say that selfish players have never won a superbowl. I said that these 2 assholes won't win a superbowl. they lack the knowledge of the term team!

before T.O's signing HH wrote: You know, I might be softening my stance on TO. If it'll tweak the Eagles it might be worth it. TO will be on his best behavior for 1 year, he'll get to make two statement games against them. He's still a shitbag, but I know in my heart of hearts if the Cowboys sign him I'll pitch a fit, but the first time that fucker scores a touchdown I'll be one cheering hypocrit. I'd rather they didn't sign him so I can retain some semblace of dignity.

And don't fucking act like every last one of you wouldn't be the same. A guy is a douchebag when he plays for another team. When he's your guy, you cut him some slack.

T.O. will be the largest shit sammich I'll have to swallow as a fan. Haley was tough, Deion was worse, and the prospecy of what Keyshawn might have done could only be shadowed by having to not shoot myself for having Barry Switzer run the boy's. T.O. takes the basket, however, but at least I'm honest enough to know that'll all go away when he starts helping my team win. If/when he starts being a cancer... right back to shit bag status.

Don't lie... you know you all are the same way! You may bluster a bit for "internet coolness" but deep down we'll all sell our souls for a few more wins!

Hh is right, of course.

Fans are shallow and simple.

The league's largest shitbag suddenly seems sort of .... alright .... when he's kickin' ass in YOUR colors.

Bill Romanowski.

Raider fans have embraced MANY other such characters.

As long as said shitbag doesn't crap the bed in your town everything is sunny side up.

If TO hurts the bottom line Cowboy fan will be quick to tar & feather his ass, but as long as he helps the bottom line there'll be no problem.

Every wonder why your own farts smell ok ... ?
