Come on, pop, something fresh and original from the blabbering band wagoner? Not gonna happen.

Someone fix the needle please and you KC bros should get Polly up to speed and let him know about that new invention, the cassette recorder/player.
It might skip a little less but the shit kind of gets chewed up and spit out from time to time. Just like Polly.

This statement pretty much says it all, you better hope for huge improvement from this unit, if not this signing is just preseason myopia....

Good signing for KC.

Not so good signing for pretty much any other NFL defense that exists.

Letting Ty Law go is a perfect example of how good team like the New England Patriots are able to compete at a high level year after year by managing their salary cap. Other teams like the Kansas City Chiefs make a little noise now and then with a signing of a Ty Law to keep their Fans excited.

The Homeless guy has the uncanny ability to read when a player is just starting on the downside of his career, and gets rid of him before the team suffers because if it.

Hey, I respect you Chief fans for being fans of a shit team win or lose. I'm a Titans fan so I know what it's like to cheer for a shit team. Of course, the Titans are just in a down spell. They will return. Football Jesus will probably take them back to the playoffs.

Anyhow, what I never understood about this group of Chief fans is the year in and year out "THIS is our year!" mentality. You guys remind me of the fucking Indian fans in Major League at the beginning of the season who are high on the team and eventually give in to reality once the season starts and you see how much of a shit team you actually have.

Props on backing your shit team. I truly mean that. You just need to back off the "SB or bust!" stuff.

orc,

I seem to remember a kcdave and kcscott as well who suffered from the same kind of myopia. I haven't frequented the NFL board much in the past couple years, but for some reason I seem to remember those guys doing the same shit.

Sorry to lump ALL of you guys in with that group.

Scott and dave have moments of myopia, as all fans are prone to have, but those two guys are actually pretty measured with their takes.

What happens is that Paul's 'you've GOT to be kidding me' takes tend to overshadow a lot of the common sense displayed by other Chef fans in here.

We're all capable of short-sightedness at times, but it's not a constant mantra ... at least for most here.

I'm all for backing your team through thick and thin, and I'm also guilty of occasional myopic comment; however, I'm as tired as anyone after reading the same meaningless drivel year after year.

Paul's become the poster child for the phpbb ignore feature and, unless Merck develops a pill that can make him smarter, I seriously doubt anything will ever change.

No, I'm talking about Randy Quaid and his entourage in the outfield banging the drum. The "too high" to be a homer guys.

Get the fuck off Paul, and get on ME then, motherfucker.

Paul is passionate about the NFL, and I gots no problem with that. Rack him for that, and fuck any you bitches who say otherwise.

In my book, that's better than some vaccillating cunt drip coming in here with some scared-assed shit take about how just maybe, if the stars align just right, their team might just maybe sorta' compete for the Lomabardi trophy this year...whilst simultaeneously grabbing their ass with both hands.

I've been saying that this is the Chiefs "YEAR" every year for the past 15 or so, but THIS year, I really mean it.

If that annoys you, get the fuck over it. I wouldn't even bother wasting my time logging on here to post some namby pamby bullshit other than that MY TEAM RULES and YOUR team is the utter sucksors.

If that means that I'm a myopic homer (I freely admit that), then so be it.

That's one of the reasons why I dig R-James...dude lives and dies (mostly dies) with his team, but never fails to take his medicine when it don't go his way.

I hope that clears things up for you, and others.

Indy -

FatPaul and Whitey are the only myopic shitbag Chief fans on here. The majority of us live in reality and see the team for what they have been for over a decade - an underachieving group. Hell, I've had season tickets since '91 and they have blown home field advantage in the first game THREE TIMES since then. Just scroll past the drivel of these two tards for the real Chief fans.

It's so cute how you all lick each others wounds.

You might want to get the posse together to help out Gaydar James in the MLB forum.
