Kerry torpedos Dems chances....

Post by ChargerMike »

IMHO...and don't come back with his lame ass spin on how it was a botched joke. We all know Kerry never miss-speaks, just ask him. Condescending, arrogant bastard he is, he won't be able to yank himself out of the dumper on this one, nor will his elitist cohorts. What a douch bag... :meds:

Old news Mike. The rest of us are back to discussing the failure in Iraq, out of control defecit spending and the continued outsourcing of American jobs.

760 billion dollars is what you call "shrinking"?

NAFTA and WTO aren't political issues?

Dude, don't bogart. Pass that bong every once in a while.

Gee, you're nearly 500 billion dollars off. Lie much, shitstain?
The lie would be the numbers produced by OMB.

But even if we accept the OMB's numbers, the national debt is still at a larger percentage of GDP than at any time since WWII

http://zfacts.com/p/318.html
(NAFTA and WTO) Have nothing to with private employers offshoring jobs nor is there anything the government can do about it.
Lower tairiffs make it easier for companies to outsource production.

Oh...OK. Well, if you say so.

Dumbfuck.
Like I said, even if you accept OMB's numbers, we are still running a debt larger than any we have had in relation to GDP since the administration of Harry Truman.

What say you about that "fiscal conservative"?

BSmack, you might want to let this election go.

With the looming "cut 'n run" from Iraq that Bush will be compelled to perform before '08, the GOP wont
have any Democrat House to hang the blame on.

That should go down like a sack of kittens in a pond for the Republicans for many years to come.

See what I'm doing? I'm strategizing!

I've been ambivalent about the prospect of a Democratic takeover for those exact same reasons. There are times when I think the ideal scenario would be to just miss taking over the House and Senate, giving us another 2 years of Bush rolling about in his own personal La Brea tar pit called Iraq.

But then I think of the opportunities to stifle the appointment of new fascists to the federal judiciary, hamstring Bush's fiscal insanity and generally make his life as miserable as it is possible to make the "Leader of the Free World" miserable, and I start thinking it might just be a time for a cool change.

What about the fact that Kerry was completely accurate?

If you fuck around and don't study--or prepare yourself for some kind of livlihood--your options will be limited to, among other odious tasks, serving in Iraq.

The American troops in Iraq are being physically and mentally ground into paste. Hundreds of thousands of cases of psychological damage are being incurred as we speak. And Tens of thousands of GIs are blown to shit, losing legs, eyes, movement, etc.

Of course no one with any sense or alternative would enlist in the U.S. army. Why would they? the Army is being deployed in a nightmarish--and illegal--manner, with no end in sight.

RACK KERRY and fuck the vile desperate smear machine of Rove/Rusp/O'Reilly

Well, we have two choices. Since the current incumbents can't seem to manage, I guess we'll just have to try the alternative.

US budget deficit shrinks in 2005

The US budget deficit shrank to $319bn (£180bn) last year as better economic conditions boosted tax revenues.

Oh hey, it's only 300 billion per year?? Well that is so much better. :meds:

Note also that the defecit only shrank that much due to increased revenue, not because Republicans suddenly developed any sense of fiscal responsibility.

Yea, and in another 200 years the defecit might even be manageable again. :meds:

Oh buillshit. The revenue increase had little to do with the tax cuts. It was the housing boom that has fueled this economy and supplied much of the additional tax revenue. People who owned a house they bought before 2000 suddently found it doubled in price in 2004, so they yanked out 100 k and either bought a second home or a boat or some shit. This administration had little to do with that circumstance, since the whole upward housing trend started back in the 1990's.
